It was getting dark around the forest. The lively forest was mysteriously silent. Amidst all the silence, Shokal was running aimlessly. His panting was echoing in the silent forest. His long steps were making a cracking sound tearing the heart of the forest. He was running like his life depends on it.
A thin stream of blood was flowing through his right cheek. A river of cold crimson blood was obstructing his right eye. There was a blunt wound in his temple that he was covering with one hand and running from something behind him. Behind him a death whistle sound like the Aztecs can be heard.
Thousands of dark shadows was laughing maniacally from the trees. Hundreds red ruby like eyes were glowing in the dark .Some unknown entities were chasing Shokal like some hunters playing with an injured prey.
Shokal was panicking and trying to sprint away fast as he could but some unknown force was stopping him. The path Infront of him was getting wabbly as he was getting closer. The hysterical laughs were getting close to him as the time pases.
Thump' thump' thump'.....
His heart was beating like it would explode right away.
'Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' the death whistles were sounding like someone was getting skinned alive. Shokal started crying.
He looked back to the shadows trying to focus on them well but he couldn't, no matter how much he tried. Suddenly something touched his shoulders with cold hands. He looked back and something pushed him onto the ground. He tried to control himself and look upward and saw hundreds of red eyes in intricate mask were staring at him and making ritual sounds. He tried to speak but he couldn't form a word . They were tall like trees, the sky behind them was crimson red. The masked creatures captured him, covered his eyes with their cold hands.Shokal tried to become free but couldn't. After a while of struggling, he could feel his limbs getting tear apart one by . He wanted to shout in pain, a pain he had never felt before. He tried so hard to open his eyes but his struggle was in vain again. The laugh was getting intense. The air was filled with blood scent. He could hear munching sounds of their eating his limbs. His world started getting darker and darker and then in a glimpse everything was over...

There was a faint white light. Shokal opened his eyes. He found himself lying on the white floor. He was having a nightmare. None of that was real. His limbs were intact. But he was drenched in sweat. His heart was still pounding like crazy.
"I'm alive!!! Tha..that..that was a nightmare. I thought I was dead." His eyes filled with water.
He was alright but his loneliness and the fact that he was weak already made him paranoid mentally. He stayed like that in the white space for some moment...
.
.
Shokal splashed some water in his face and drank some. He was now ready to go back to the lake.
" After going back I'm going to solely focus on becoming stronger. I can't live in fear like this. If something doesn't kill me, I'll probably kill myself in fear". He thought nervously.
He came out from Eden and checked the surroundings. It was already late in the morning. The weather was nice. He could hear the birds chirping around the lush vegetation. The cave was full of sounds today too. Shokal took a glance at the entrance and started going back carefully.
He was slower than usual. His eyes were monitoring everything around him. The things he saw in his nightmare had a strong impact on him. So he was always ready for any worst situation.
"I will go inside Eden if anything happens like my dream. I have enough food to survive couple of days inside." Shokal thought while walking.
He was passing the big pile rotten creatures when he noticed some changes in the pile. There were some new waste that was dumped. Some parts were disorganized. Probably some scavenger animal visited the pile at night. Another thing caught his eyes that there were some new corpses. Most of them were mutilated like the previous one he saw. Except for one corpse that was intact. It was a corpse of a little green child . Shokal examined it carefully and found that there was no wound and it's indeed a little humanoid green child with pointy ears, long nose and a gross looking face.
Shokal hesitated a little bit and touched the corpse with one of his finger to add it in Eden.
He quickly stored it and throw it out in the split second just to check it's status. At that moment,he needed informations about the green creature more than anything . Soon the screen popped up.

Shokal was amazed with all these informations. He could see the informations in his mind too but he needed the physical version to see it with his eyes and sort the informations that was different from his nightmare.
He understood everything very well, as all the information got shoved in his memory as a perk of being the keeper. Now, he had a general idea about goblins. And instinctively knew what to do next.

Shokal took a huge portion of rotten corpses, bones, flesh inside Eden and started running from the place as fast as he could. As he was running , he dropped some of the rotten waste here and there, he came back to the wooden gate beside the lake and dropped some there too. He continued this peculiar behavior until he reached the other side of the lake where he first started. There were still some waste left inside Eden. He dumped all the waste there and jumped into the lake. After having a quick bath and cleaning himself thoroughly, he quickly went inside Eden.
The white space was unchanged. As Shokal predicted, there was not a single trace that it contained rotten flesh with that much bad smell.
Shokal was exhausted. He literally ran for 3 hour straight. It would have been impossible if he didn't have an adrenaline rush from the trauma he had from his dreams. Now, There was not a tiny bit of power left inside him. Muscles all over his body were aching like they were torn from the inside. His heart was beating like he was going to have a heart attack in any moment.
He sat down against an wall and ate all the food he had inside. Most of them were many kinds of berries fruits ,leaves . He ate some healing herbs too that calmed him down and closed his eyes.
The mental pressure he had from the fear of the unknown creature was gone. All he had to do now was to wait...
