After forty minutes. Karl walked towards his group wiping away the blood from his hands and handing back Matt's dirk to him.

The group looked at Karl nervously from there perspective only a cruel person who had probably already been with the same situation in the past could torture another person without compassion and without flinching. Of course, there could be other reasons as well. But it was always easier to think of the worst in people; this was a human quality after all.

Karl looked at his group and scoffed clearly knowing what they are thinking, with their eyes were somewhat erratic.

However, what surprised him remarkably was that the gaze in Matt's eyes. There wasn't even a hint of fear on them.

Satisfied with with Matt's behavior, his attention went to the group and said "Those men were from the Mazzante gang and with a thousand people."

Hearing the number of what they are dealing with. The group we're nervous except for Matt who is confident about his strength.

"What are we going to do now?" Trish said with a grim face, clearly not willing to deal with the gang.

"We moved away since their base is close by and level up to get stronger" Karl although was sure that he can take out a thousand men, however with the system he wasn't sure if they are all Normal people, who knows if there is someone stronger.

"But, boss aren't we going to deal with them" Matt asked curious that Karl wasn't aggressive about this.

"If you're thinking that they will all be people then your wrong. We can never be sure about that, and specifically they were the one who raided the gymnasium and Andrew is with them" Karl explained.

Hearing Karl explanation Matt solemnly nodded feeling bitter about not doing anything to them.

"Then we're are we going to go?" Leah this time asked worried that Karl doesn't know we're to go. And her worries were correct, Karl doesn't know where to go.

"Maybe back to the subway since it is the best place to level up right now" He said while frowning thinking of a place that is relatively safe while there is several monster nearby to level up.

The group face went pale hearing Karl answer, although when Karl said about the subway wasn't terrifying but him and Matt running away .

"How hard is the subway really?" Patrick ask seeing that Matt face was also pale, means that the beast in the subway must be difficult.

"How difficult is the subway, good question" Karl muttered and thought.

"The centipede aren't that difficult to deal with, it's just their exoskeleton making them harder is annoying' with the fog they make is annoying making their vision limited."

Relief were itch in the group hearing Karl explanation, but still worried about the limited vision.

'Then if there is no prob-"

"Wait. How about the the park since it now look likes a forest there must be a lot of monster there" Matt interjected Karl clearly not willing to go in the subway again.

"I'll agree" Leah immediately agreed to Matt's proposal.

The other group also agreed although it was still uncharted they prefer it more, than the subway with freezing temperatures and limited vision.

"Sure why not" Karl also agreed, thinking back at it now the subway is really bad for the netherhounds with them vulnerable they might die to the cold or be single off by the centipedes.

"Then we should leave immediately" Patrick said, expecting that the mazzante gang will send people to investigate the whereabouts of Gian and Charles.

The group hurriedly to move out of the pharmacy carrying their equipment and the medical supply they have.

"Hey, Patrick can I borrow your sword for a sec" Karl said as Patrick look at him with a questioning look.

"Here" Patrick handed his sword to Karl as the latter take it. He look at Karl curious that he's gonna do with his sword, only to see him walk towards the corpse of Gian and Charles.

Karl walk in front of the corpses and kneeled down, as he cut off there arms and legs. Shocking the group of his actions.

"What are gonna do with them" Leah asked with a disgusted look, butchering an animal is relatively tolerable but butchering a human wasn't.

"Well, it's for Krass and the others" Karl asked as he put the limbs on his storage ring. Visibly shocking the group as seeing the limbs disappearing .

"Boss, where did it go?" Matt ask curious about how he made the limbs disappeared.

"About what" Karl asked back not catching his questions.

"About the limbs, how did you made them disappear?" Leah clarified.

"Oh!, I put them in my storage ring" Karl said as he raised his hand to the group seeing a gold ring with a green gem on it.

"Storage ring as in those subspace thing on the novels, boss" Matt asked again wanting Karl to clarify.

"Yea those kind of thing" Karl nodded.

The group went silent and decided to ignore their curiosity.
