Chapter 60

"What do you mean Yuki is with Mucho?" Baji fumes as he glares at Draken. Draken sits still beside Baji.

"Apparently Yuki knew about what Kazutora was planning to do... Did you not monitor Kazutora and Yuki's little meet ups?" Draken replies.

"What do you mean did I monitor them? I didn't even know Kazutora and her were meeting up. Where the hell did you get this information from anyways?" Baji huffs.

"I talked to Kisaki."

"And you believed him?" Baji seethes.

"Yuki is problematic, Baji."

"REALLY? PROBLEMATIC? KISAKI IS THE FUCKING PROBLEM!"

"Relax Baji-san." Chifuyu motions for Baji to be quiet.

"Shut up Chifuyu..." Baji rasps, glaring at Chifuyu. Draken sits quietly staring at Baji with a relaxed expression on his face.

"Yuki is the reason most of this stuff is happening... She went behind our backs and spoke to the Black Dragons and Valhalla without us knowing." Draken implies.

"Yeah? And who the hell told you that? Kisaki?" Baji seethes, glaring at Draken.

"I don't know why I came to you about this..." Draken sighs standing up.

"I thought you were against Kisaki... I thought you-" Baji starts.

"I was... but after the meeting it made sense. What you saw had nothing to do with Kisaki."

"EH?"

"Yuki was the problem. Kisaki has known this for a while and tried covering it up since Yuki used to be someone he cared about."

"Are you fucking serious?" Baji laughs. "You really believe that shit?" He asks with wide eyes and a smile on his face.

"You don't? You don't think anything revolving Yuki wasn't a little bit suspicious?" Draken asks. Baji narrows his eyes at Draken. "Of course you don't... you're just like Mikey- You like her too much to notice. Your feelings are getting in the way." Draken implies with an irritated smile on his face. Baji furrows his eyebrows and clenches his fists.

"If you hurt Yuki, I will kill you."

"See what I mean... you've changed Baji..." Draken sighs and turns away, walking past Chifuyu and towards the door. "I know Baji can't physically do anything... but Chifuyu."

"Mmm?"

"You get in the way... I will see you as a traitor too..." He says walking out the room. Chifuyu stares at the door as it closes. Baji sits quietly glaring down at the bed.

"Chifuyu-"

"I know." Chifuyu interrupts. Baji smiles, showing his sharp canine teeth. 

You look at Mucho in shock. He thinks I wanted Mikey dead? Is he serious? You panic in your head.

"I don't understand what you're talking about..." You say in a confused tone. 

"You had a close relationship with Kazutora... am I right?" He asks looking back down at the board and moving a piece again.

"No?"

"No? Are you sure?"

"Why do you think that?" You furrow your eyebrows and lean your head a bit. He looks back up at you.

"Both you and Baji are considered traitors to Toman-"

"Why? What did I do to be called a traitor?" You huff.

"You know... The fifth division has a special role in Toman. Our role is to punish those who we find suspicious..."

"Suspicious? But I didn't even-"

BZZZZZ BZZZZZ

Mucho pulls his phone out of his pocket and holds the phone towards his ear.

"Hello?" He says into the phone. "Yeah... I've got her. Yeah?" He looks up at you with his eyes narrowed. He slowly stands up and walk towards the door. "Watch her." He says to the guy with pink hair. You watch as Mucho walks out the room. You sigh and take all the pieces off the board and put them to the side. The pink haired guy squints his eyes at you when you do. You slowly look up at him, glaring back at him.

"Who are you?" You ask. He stares at you not answering. You slowly smile and look down at the board. Your eyes look around at the floor. It stops at a few small pipes in the corner of the room.

THUD 

The sound of something heavy bangs into the door. The pink haired guy's eyes widen as he looks at the door. He places his hand on the doorknob and opens the door. Mucho falls into the room unconscious. A person holding a bat stares at him from the other side. He's wearing a black motorcycle helmet. You quickly move towards the small pipes on the ground.

"AUGH-" The sound of something heavy hits the ground. Causing you to flinch. Your eyes slowly look towards the black helmet that's on the ground then towards the pink haired guy and the mysterious person. Your eyes widen when you see Chifuyu in the grasp of the guy as a blade is being held against his throat. 

"Oh? It's you." The guy says pressing the blade harder into Chifuyu's neck causing blood to drip.

"Chifuyu..." You say in a shocked tone.

"Let go of me... Sanzu..." Chifuyu huffs.

Sanzu?

You reach towards a pipe.

"Grab the pipe and I'll kill him." Sanzu listlessly says as his eyes bore into yours. You furrow your eyebrows and sit back a bit.

"Sanzu... that's your name? Why do you wear a mask?" You ask. His eyes relax. Chifuyu jabs his elbow into Sanzu's side causing him loosen his group on Chifuyu. You grab a pipe and swing at Sanzu, hitting him in the head. He falls to the ground. Chifuyu backs away and sighs loudly. Sanzu sits against the wall and holds the side of his head, glaring at you.

"Mikey will kill you, Chifuyu." Sanzu says, glaring at Chifuyu.

"I don't care." Chifuyu replies. Sanzu smiles at him.

"You will care if it was Baji." He chuckles. Chifuyu's eyes widen. "Baji can't run like you..." Sanzu's smile becomes sadistic as his eyes narrow and pierce into Chifuyu's eyes. Chifuyu grabs the pipe from your hand and smacks Sanzu in the head, knocking him out. Blood starts to drip from Sanzu's head as he lays unconscious on the ground. 

"I don't care if I'm looked at as a traitor by Toman... but I'm not going to let you hurt Baji... especially not when he can't defend himself." Chifuyu huffs, throwing the pipe onto the ground. "Come on. Let's go." Chifuyu say's grabbing your wrist and pulling you out the room. You both walk outside. Baji's bike is sitting out on the curb. You furrow your eyebrows as you stare at it. "What?" He looks at you confused.

"Isn't this Baji's bike?" 

"Yeah... He's letting me use it for now since he can't ride it." He says getting on the bike. "Come on... get on." Chifuyu says to you. You get on the back of the bike, holding onto Chifuyu as he drives off. 

Sanzu opens his eyes and laughs. He slowly gets up and grabs the broken phone from beside Mucho. Pressing buttons on the phone, he dials for Mikey.

"You were right... Chifuyu is in on it... Yeah~ They just left." Sanzu says into the phone.

Chifuyu stops behind the bakery and parks the bike beside the building. 

"Fuck- I didn't think of where you would stay until things cool down." Chifuyu sighs.

"What do you mean?" You ask, looking at Chifuyu confused.

"Nothing- just go grab a few things and let's go." He motions for you to go. 

"Wait? I don't understand... what's happening?" You ask in a panicked tone.

"We are fucked... that's what's happening. You and Baji were considered traitors of Toman... and now I'm a traitor too."

"Why? Why do they believe that?"

"Kisaki said so during a meeting. It didn't seem believable until he showed us solid proof that you were both traitors. I think that's his way to get rid of Baji." Chifuyu sighs.

"To get rid of Baji?"

"Remember how you said Baji was supposed to die during the fight... Well you're right... he was. Kisaki planned on killing Baji- but that didn't happen. Kazutora died instead. Draken started to have suspicion on Kisaki... believing Kisaki was prepared for this-"

"I don't understand..." You interrupt, motioning Chifuyu to stop.

"What don't you understand?"

"What do you mean he was prepared?" You question.

"... I'm guessing you heard about how Kazutora died... Kisaki was prepared for that... someone stepped in Mikey's place to take fall for Kazutora's death. Kisaki was the one who set up someone to take the fall. Baji and Draken had both ruled out the idea that Kisaki was behind it all. I guess Kisaki knew about that so he made you and Baji look like traitors... and it really upset Mikey... a lot." Chifuyu softly says.

"I talked to Mitsuya today... he didn't- he never mentioned anything about that..." You say in a confused tone.

"Of course he wouldn't... if he did you would of left... besides he also believes Kisaki... He seemed hurt about it." Chifuyu softly says.

"Shouldn't we get Baji? I mean... He can't run away..." You say in a panicked tone. Chifuyu's eyes relax and he looks down at the ground.

"Baji said not to worry about him..." Chifuyu says in a sad tone. "Let's go before someone gets here..." Chifuyu grabs your wrist and pulls you into the back of the bakery. You both walk upstairs. You flinch as you walk up the stairs. Something doesn't feel right... You thought.

"Wait... stop..." You whisper pulling onto Chifuyu. He stops and looks at you.

"What?"

"The baby..."

"Huh?"

Your eyes narrow as you stare at the door. It smells weird... it smells like mud and mildew. The baby isn't crying like it normally does which isn't out of the normal but the door is cracked open a little... Emi wouldn't leave the door open... would she?

"I think there's something wrong..." You whisper. You slowly walk up the stairs past Chifuyu. You slowly push open the door and walk into the living room. Chifuyu follows behind you. 

"Yuki... What are you talking about?" Chifuyu whispers back. You look around the room feeling very confused. Where's Emi and the baby? You turn your head towards Chifuyu. Your eyes widen when you see a shadow move behind him.

"CHIFUYU!" You yell out. Chifuyu notices and blocks the attack from the stranger and quickly moves himself away. His hand is dripping of blood as he gotten stabbed in the hand. The stranger swings at Chifuyu again. Someone grabs you from behind which causes you to panic. You try to break free from the person. They push your legs away from each other using their foot and forcing you to fall over. They place their foot on your back, making it hard to move.

The sound of a gun clicking makes your heart drop. 

"NO!" Chifuyu yells as the stranger pulls the trigger. 

BAM

You jerk to the loud noise. Your eyes quickly widen. You quickly look up to see the stranger backing away from someone, backing away towards you. You couldn't see who it was correctly through your hair.

"The hell." The stranger hesitates. Your eyes widen to the voice. The strangers voice sounds familiar.

"YUKI! EMI!" A voice yells out from the stairs. You quickly get up and grab the nearest object to you. It was a glass vase. You grab it and smash the stranger in the head causing him to fall. Chifuyu grabs the blade from the other guy and elbows him in the face, knocking him down. Eli bursts into the room, tripping over the guy on the ground. "Chifuyu?" Eli says in a confused tone. Chifuyu and Eli are standing in front of each other, staring at each other.

"Emi?" You say staring at Emi who's standing still. "Are you okay?"

"Where's the baby? What happened?" Eli asks looking at Emi.

"Something feels... weird..." Emi sluggishly says. 

"Huh?" Eli looks at Emi confused. Emi slowly looks at Eli with wide eyes.

"It feels hot..." 

Her shirt begins to quickly turn red near the right center of her chest. She drops down to the ground and starts gasping for air. You stand stiff as you watch Eli run towards Emi. 

"NO! EMI! NOOOOOO!" Eli shouts.

"... she's going to die..." Chifuyu says in a low tone. "She got shot near the lung..."

"CALL 119! CALL THE AMBULENCE!" Eli shouts out.

Someone grabs you from behind and holds the gun up against your head.

"You won't be calling anyone." The stranger says to Eli. Eli's eyes widen when he sees the gun being held up against your head. 

"Please... stop..." Eli cries as he holds Emi. Chifuyu stares at you with wide eyes.

"Who are you?" Chifuyu asks. 

"Koda..." You softly say as you recognized who was holding onto you. Koda scoffs and grips the gun tighter.

BZZZZ BZZZZ

Koda's eyes narrow as the phone in his pocket vibrates. He pushes you down onto the ground, pulling out his phone. He steps on you, pushing you down and answering the phone. Chifuyu quickly moves, trying to grab you but Koda points the gun at you.

"Hello?" He says into the phone. His eyes widen and he looks at Eli. "Are you Eno's kid?" He asks looking at Eli. Eli's eyes widen. He slowly looks up at Koda with pink glossy and puffy eyes. Koda's eyes relax and he sighs. "I accidently shot the daughter." He sighs into the phone.

"Who are you?" Eli seethes.

"I work... for your father- Eno Mori." Koda says staring at Eli. "Your sister isn't going to die... I shot her with a rubber bullet... If you agree to come with me, I won't kill your friend." Koda says staring at Eli. "The quicker you answer... the faster I will help you." 

"A rubber bullet wouldn't do that to someone..." Chifuyu huffs. Koda glares at Chifuyu.

"If it were a real bullet, it would have gone through her." Koda replies.

"You don't know that. A rubber bullet wouldn't do that to someone." Chifuyu seethes.

"Oh? Want me to show you?" He says as his finger tightens onto the trigger pointing at you.

"NO! I WILL GO!" Eli panics. Koda smiles as he looks towards Eli.

Baji stares out at the city from the roof on his wheelchair. The sound of the elevator door opening behind Baji causes him to smile.

"So... you're here to kill me now... as your traitor... Mikey~" Baji sooths. Mikey stops a few feet behind Baji, staring at him with a blank expression on his face.
