"isnt that what you call unlawful?" she asked making everyone dumbfounded

"this is a crime against our rules and ethics," she spoke, her voice steady "i could just report this to the higher authority, but wont that mean dragging us all out in the public eyes, making us vunerable to our opponent Who would not hesistate to sieze the opportunity."

She turned to Mrs Seo, as the room turned tensed quiet

Mrs Seo began " your father was the one Who... "

"my father is dead Mrs Seo." Minjae's voice was sharp, yet there were no anger in them, only the weight of truth "the dead do not speak nor can defend them self, therefore i advice you speak for your self. Did you or did you not agreed to corner me, fully disregarding my grand father's will and the legacy of my fore father's" she asked Mrs Seo Who was now speechless

"I am ashamed to admit that all what you have said is true" Mr Baek finally spoke "we taught it was for the good" he said.

"of course, so do I, and that is why i will let it all go. And as for the installation, lets just say we are even" she said.

Most of the member exchanged uncomfortable glance, their face a mix of embarrassment and frustration.

Then Mrs Seo asked, this time her voice a bit lighter than before

"what would you do about the panel on the wall, each passing heir has a status panel in their names, signed by the elite family. How do you plan on getting yours, with out our support and installation

"oh, do not worry about that, i will see to it that your names and signature are in there" she simply replied as everyone glance at eachother, Her words left the room buzzing with murmurs, but Minjae remained unbothered. She had made her decision, and nothing could sway her now___no one knew what to make of the new leaders.

The meeting ended earlier than usual with most of the members being unsatisfied and frustrated by the meeting, Minjae remained seated in the gold chair, her posture perfect and her gaze steady as everyone walked out. The last to leave was Mr. Geum.

Before he exit, he turned to her, "i wish you success on the seat" he said and made to leave but stoped midway as she asked

"why does a Geum never sign on the panel?"

He smiles "maybe, because we never cross path with an actual capable Choi leader" he said

Minjae's eyes glinted with a quiet challenge as she smiled back. "before my tenor ends, your signature would be in the status panel, under my name" she smiled "what would you say to that?" she asked

"i would say___ i hope so then" he replied with a gentle smile, he glanced at his grand son one last time and then left.

After he left silence took over.

"No wonder where your courage comes from sang tae" she stands up and turned to him "and i want to believe you used such courage to assist and protect my sister from the bully she recieved from the organization" she said as he and kim Ann soo turned their gaze to her

"what do you mean?" he asked

"you had no idea?" she feighed suprise as he signed

"i know you consider all business men to be cruel but you should know, these are noble men, and noble people dont..."

"now you both listen, i will Keep you by my side and you must do as i say" she turns to sang tae "even thou it means going against your own family." she folded her arms against her chest as she heaved a sigh, she continues

"Everyone here is my enemy, Until they prove themself not, and as long as they are my enemy, they are yours also, but if you feel like you cant handle it, then now is your chance to leave" she stands up to leave "i wont force you to stay" she walks to the door and then turns to sang tae

"and the reporter?" she asked

"fired" he simply replied, and then she went off.
