Let them talk

As the soft glow of the Underworld's eternal torches filtered through the dark curtains, Aurelia stirred awake.

Hades lay beside her, his body was so relaxed, yet power radiated from him even in sleep. Before she could move, his eyes flickered open, it was so beautiful and filled with adornment and love for her.

A lazy smirk tugged at his lips. He reached up, brushing a strand of red hair from her face before leaning down to press a kiss to her temple.

"Get up," he murmured against her skin. "We need to get ready for dinner."

Aurelia groaned softly, not wanting to leave the warmth of his bed, but she knew better than to push her luck. Hades had already been patient with her, more than she deserved after what had happened last night.

With a final glance, she slipped out of bed, wrapping herself in a silk robe as she made her way back to her chambers.
