Rumble!
Laying on the ground with eyes open and body buried in snow, Sado looked at the sky with a faint smile.
"This human reminds me of that old fox." Sado pushed away the snow from his face and slowly stood up. "I think Vethas and I should change the war rules. A duel should suffice."
Despite the human being so weak, the resources and inheritances existing in this frost forest were by no means simple.
Sado and Vethas had dealt with an old fox for a long time that tried to kill them and take away their frosty core multiple times using all kinds of tricks and items.
Dealing with another was by no means a wise decision.
If Yasuo could hear Sado's thoughts, he would be even more thoroughly amazed and astounded.
The giant's intelligence has far exceeded his expectations, and they weren't merely using brute force with a muscle brain on top of their shoulders like he initially thought.

On top of a frozen lake spanning hundreds of meters, two four-meter giants stood face to face with only a meter distance from each other.
In the distance, many smaller giants, including human slaves, were scattered behind both individuals, awaiting their orders.
"What do you say about my offer, Vethas? Winner takes all," Sado said, pointing at the giants behind him. "There will be no casualties from both sides, and we will enjoy all the benefits without losses."
Vethas rubbed his chin.
He had spent a lot of time preparing for this war and used half of his treasury resources to strengthen his warriors even more, but he never expected that all of that would be in vain and that Sado would suggest turning the war into a duel.
"The idea is truly tempting, but..." He had a bit of hesitation as he deduced various outcomes of the war," Aghh, fuck it, let's go for a duel. Winner takes all!"
Aho! Aho! Aho!
Everyone chanted along right after his words, taking several steps back and giving them enough space for their duel.
'Winner will indeed take all,' Placing his back on a frozen tree trunk, Yasuo's lips curled into a smile.
After saying so, Vethas face became serious, and he unsheathed the dark three-meter-long greatsword slung on his back. Simultaneously, not only did his body radiate a frightening aura, but the Qi surrounding him also took on a near-liquid form, sparkling as it circled his silvery-gray armor.
Sensing the pressure he radiated, Yasuo and some others who were a bit too close, given their overconfidence, subconsciously took a step back.
'As expected of this old bastard! His Qi Body will almost break that threshold and step into the nascent soul realm! He can probably hold his own against even a few weaker folks on the other side of the mountain!' An old man watching from far away on top of a tree was astonished when he sensed Vethas's aura.
He felt that he had made the right choice not to engage directly in combat against them but to wear them down bit by bit instead.
After Vethas unleashed his aura, Sado, who was in front of him, also became serious and tightly clenched his fists. The white armor he wore instantly transformed into an armor of frost, making it seem as if the God of Frost had just descended to the mortal world.
The aura he radiated was not the slightest bit inferior to Vethas, and despite him having no weapon, none in the surrounding vicinity dared to come to a certain conclusion about who would win the fight and emerge victorious.
'Amazing! So, this is the strength of peak golden core cultivators?'Yasuo was astounded as he looked at Vethas and Sado.
'Let's see how you can stop me if one of you dies and the other is heavily injured,' the old man sitting far away mused. He truly felt that these giants had grown impatient over the years, but a hint of vigilance was also mixed into that amusement.
Under normal circumstances, the two wouldn't directly fight one-on-one but would instead engage in a war and stay behind, which is mainly due to his existence and intentions of obtaining both of their cores.
But for some unknown reason, they both disregarded his existence and chose to end this everlasting dispute once and for all.
"Did everyone have some fun watching the display of the strength of both your leaders? Now, let's end this," Suddenly, Vethas's aura and demeanor shifted dramatically, exuding an overwhelming presence as he looked down at Sado like he was looking at an Ant.
In a split second, when Vethas's aura underwent a complete transformation, Sado's expression twisted into an ugly form, and his soul trembled.' Beyond? When And why?'
The same question simultaneously ran through the minds of the old man and Yasuo.
However, before they could respond to the situation, Vethas suddenly appeared before Sado and Yasuo, his movements so fast that it seemed as if time had stopped for everyone watching the fight from the sides.
Vethas then stabbed their hearts with his sword.
Afterward, Vethas returned to one entity, now standing quietly by the tree behind Yasuo. And before anyone realized what had happened, the sword in his hand was already back in its sheath, as if Vethas had never drawn it.
He was so fast that, in the eyes of everyone watching, it appeared that he split into two copies and killed both the human and giant who were far apart simultaneously.
Meanwhile, Sado and Yasuo's knees seemed to weaken before everyone realized what was going on. The two's bodies then collapsed to the ground, neither managing to react from start to finish.
"They're dead?"
The spectators in the frost lake were stunned to see Sado and Yasuo collapsing to the ground, their minds failing to process this situation.
The old man sitting atop the tree far away, in particular, appeared petrified, his body remaining utterly motionless as he stared at the two sprawled corpses.
'How is this possible!?'
'Sado, the leader of the Frosthorn clan, failed to block even a single hit?'
