Rescue

Kaito arrived at the big, fancy mansion where Sam's mother was being held. Using his vision skill, he glanced carefully to find out where she was kept.

"She's at the top of the mansion," he whispered to himself.

He noticed there were about 10 guards and three expert fighters patrolling the area. "Hmm, should I go now or wait for a better time?" he wondered.

"I don't want to think anymore," Kaito said. He used his teleport skill to quickly move behind the guards, knocking them out, except for the experts.

"I thought this would be easier and faster," Kaito said. "But you three earned that title, not by luck."

He smiled slightly. "Well, I only have one decent skill more . How about we make a deal? Let me go through the door and—"

Before he could finish, the mages launched an attack. However, it seemed to miss its target.

Kaito smirked, having just sidestepped the assault. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Let me finish my conversation first before you start attacking."

Kaito scratched his head and said, "Looks like the deal is off, huh? I really didn't want to use my skill."

"Restructure!" he commanded, and suddenly, the mansion shattered into pieces. Kaito quickly used his teleport skill to reach Sam's mother and catch her.

"Hello, ma'am," he greeted her calmly. "Your son made a deal with me to save you. Please, don't ask any questions. Just close your eyes and hold on tight."

She nodded and hugged him tightly.

"Let's have a nice trip," Kaito said with a reassuring smile, and then they both vanished from the mansion.

In the prison

the portal suddenly appears infront of sam . Sam mother and kaito comes out .

"I'm so glad you two are safe!" Sam shouted, relieved. "But Kaito, why are you still holding my mom? Let her go, please. And don't even think about getting close to her."

Kaito laughed, "Okay, okay. Your mom is just so beautiful, it's hard not to notice."

Sam frowned at Kaito and whispered, "Don't even try, or else you died ."

Sam's mom started crying, "Sam, you're alive! I'm so sorry for everything. It's because of me you went through this."

Sam hugged his mom tightly, reassuring her, "It's okay, Mom. I'm just happy you're safe. We'll get through this together."

Kaito stepped back, giving them space, "I didn't mean to upset anyone. I'm just glad we're all here and safe."

Sam nodded, "Thanks for looking out for my mom, Kaito, but remember what I said ."

"Now, about our promise," Kaito said with a sly grin. "You'll declare yourself innocent and become my slave, or..." He glanced at Sam's mother, clearly teasing.

"Yeah, yeah," Sam replied, rolling his eyes. "I'll do it, but make sure my mom is safe for at least a week, maybe a month, after the court hearing. Then I'll come to you."

Kaito nodded, "Deal."

Sam turned to his mom, "you have to go now, Mom. We'll save the family reunion for later, or the guards might find us."

Kaito looked at Sam, giving him a teasing smile, before opening the teleportation portal.

An hour later, they arrived at the estate.

Kaito turned to Sam's mom, "You can stay here for a while, until Sam comes back. Don't worry about him."

She gave a grateful smile, "Thank you for saving us. You're truly wonderful kids."

Kaito responded warmly, "No problem. Sam's my best friend from our adventuring days. I've offered him the position of president of this estate as a reward for saving you. Rest assured, your son will be fine."

Realizing who Kaito was, she bowed respectfully, "Oh, I'm sorry, my Lord, for not recognizing you."

"It's okay. Please, raise your head. You're like family now. Think of me as your son. Live happily in this estate and never bow to any noble again. You are the noble now."

I got to go , if you need anything just call the maid they will help you out .

Kaito leaving the room

"Damn--, it's the first time I've really talked to a friend's mom," Kaito thought to himself. "Ah, friends' mothers—they're always the best." With a sigh of exhaustion, he headed to the balcony.

Standing out there, he gazed at the stars. "I really miss my own mom," he said sofly to himself . "How would she react if she knew I was gone? All the sadness... and how hard she worked to take care of me. I can only imagine how heartbroken she would be."

A wave of nostalgia washed over him. "I miss the days we lived together, Mom. I'm sorry for leaving the way I did."

Allisa gently , she knocked on the door. "Hey, it's late. Time to rest. We've got a lot to do tomorrow,"

Kaito nodded, startled but grateful for her presence. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks," he replied, offering a small smile.

Unbeknownst to him, Sam's mom watched him through the window, sensing his loneliness.

Kaito stayed outside a bit longer. The stars seemed to whisper messages of hope and healing. He thought about his mom, remembering her warm smiles and hugs. These memories gave him strength to make her proud.

Kaito came back inside. The familiar sounds of the house at night comforted him, and he felt less burdened by thoughts of his mom in this loving home. He lay down to the bed and slowly he started crying .
