FATHER VS SON

"I see you have improved. You are now much stronger than before." Mr Mike says and grins widely, obviously feeling so much adrenaline rushing through his body.

Leonardo just bends his head and sighs. "Why are you being such a child?" He shouts as he raises his head, taking us all by surprise. "Why do you want to kill him so bad? Why are you going against mother's wish?" He shouts more. His voice increasing by the second.

His dad still surprised by the sudden outburst and the insults, begins to laugh. "Oh son. Why don't you beat some sense into your old man." He says and stops laughing. His face turning serious instantly.

I walk forward and open my mouth to speak, when something zooms pass my right cheek, causing a sharp pain. I move back, confused by what happened and turn to see that Leonardo had dragged me back and prevented a worst scenario. I feel something running down my right cheek and rub on it. I look at my fingers, only to see blood. I stare at it in horror and move back a little, feeling pain on the cheek. But more in my heart. I turn around and look at Leonardo as I held my cheek.

"What have I done to deserve this? Was I not always a good boy that wouldn't even hurt a human? Was I not always grateful to you all and loved you all, more than I loved myself? Is it an offence to need family love?" I ask as tears begins streaming down my eyes. "Then why all this?" I ask again, turning to look at his father. I smile and begin walking forward again. Leonardo drags me back, but I release myself from his grip.

"Don't worry bro. If I die proving my innocence, I'll be glad. And please no matter what, don't interfere." I continue moving forward. The thing that injured my cheek, begins zooming around me again, cutting me more on different parts of my body. I begin feeling so much pain, but continue moving forward. Not wanting any war between father and son to occur. That will definitely hurt Mrs Silvia.

'If only he knew I am innocent. He will definitely love me again as he did in the past. He is just blinded by anger. That's all. And I wouldn't want father and son to hate each other because of me. That will be messed up. And would hurt Mrs Silvia's soul.' I keep on moving forward, bearing the pain. I finally reach his front and stand still, fighting the tears that are struggling to escape. I am bloody all over and stink of blood, but didn't care. I try to hug him, feeling almost unconscious. But he dodges me and gives me a strong but weakened punch on my nose. I stagger back in shock and confusion and feel something exiting my nose. I touch it and look at my finger. I smile, still feeling intense pain. "Oh. More blood. I guess, I deserve it." I say with a very bitter laugh and walk forward again, trying to hug him again. But he dodges and punches me on the nose again. But this time, I stagger back and rush forward, hugging him tight. I could feel hot tears streaming down my face. "It's okay sir. You can kill me. But please don't fight with your son. For your wife's sake." I receive another strong but weakened punch on my stomach. It sent shock wave through my body and caused me to vomit some blood. "It's okay sir. I understand you perfect..." I receive two more punch on my stomach and a slap on the face, causing me to vomit more blood and flying. I collide with a tree and vomit more blood before falling to the ground, too weak to move. I could feel more hot tears streaming down my face. And wondered what did I do wrong. 'Is it bad to want a family?'

"Dad how could you do such? Why? After all the boy just did now. How could you be so cruel?" Leonardo shouts and zoom towards his dad. Appearing in front of him in an instant, and giving him a jaw breaker punch that released a sonic wave.

I am shocked at how strong he has become. But didn't want him to fight with his dad anymore. "Leonardo. Leonardo. Leonardo. Please stop. Don't fight your dad because of me. You won't win." I try to shout but can't, as my voice came out in whispers.

His dad is shocked. So shocked that it is like he is in emotional pain shock. "How could you punch your old man because of him?" He shouts angrily and points at me. He is still standing straight, unmoved by the punch, with Leonardo's fist still on his right cheek. He didn't even move at all.

"Shut up. You started all this stuff. If you had reasoned and stopped. It wouldn't have gone this far." Leonardo shouts and gives him another punch, releasing another sonic wave. But surprisingly Mr mike still didn't move.

The man begins laughing. One that is filled with bitterness. "Ok then, let's fight. I never meant it. But I see you're serious." He shoots an invisible force through his mouth that sends Leonardo flying and landing on the ground with a powerful force. The ground shatters and releases dust everywhere.

"What in the...." I pause and finally spot a monkey that is sitting at a corner. But it is no ordinary monkey. It is the legendary mimekey.

He stretches his hands towards me. But Leonardo quickly increases his gravity around me instantly. I finally see what had been zooming past me and injuring me. It is a swift-blade. An extremely fast bird with extremely sharp wings, beaks and claws. It is lying on the ground, helpless. But it stared at me in such a manner that says, "Imma chop you up. Once I get free, boy." I look at the two feet bird in horror. The force around it increases, making a hole on the ground and causing the swift-blade to vanish.

"How about you fight me like a ma....." Leonardo sentence is cut short, as a powerful force hits his stomach and causes him to cough out gasping for air, and kneel. He cleans his mouth and begins laughing. "Make sure you go all out old man. Show your son, the reason you are his father." He says, surprising me with his boldness. He stands up and stops laughing. His expression intense. "Don't hold back dad, cos I won't." He zooms forward and punches his dad hard, releasing another sonic wave. But the man didn't even move again. Why would he? He had a mimekey by his side. As the name implies, it is a miming monkey that grants it's owner the ability to create any invisible weapon or thing of their choice.

Leonardo jumps back and lands lightly on the ground, with his feet. "Googlena." He shouts and instantly a seven feet hyena with eyes so loose that they look like they weren't connected to the body, appear by his side. He stretches out his right hand and a blade begins forming and is done in an instant. And then, it dawned on me that this will be a great mess.

He and googlena begins running forward with such incredible speed. But his dad simply points at them, sending invisible force at them. Leonardo and his googlena dodge them, with incredible speed, causing explosions behind them, breaking the ground and releasing dust. He appears in front of his dad instantly and tries to attack him. But instantly appears in front of the mimekey.

'Such insane speed.' I look at him in admiration.

He slashes at it with such force, that a large and deep slash mark appears behind it on the ground. The creature untouched, smiles widely and points at him, sending an invisible powerful force that I only see when it is smashed to the ground by Leonardo's gravity magic.

'Damn. That shit is insane.' I stare at the four feet monkey in disbelief.

"It's futile. Your attack won't affect it. You're not strong enough." Mr Mike says coldy. "If handled well. This creature can wipe out a whole planet. That was how I found it. In a world it made extinct. And the creatures in that planet were chief level magic, level." He says boastfully, shocking I and Leonardo.

"Enough of this crap. Why don't we go physical. Afraid your little boy will mess you up." Leonardo says and begins laughing. But stops the moment his dad appears in his front instantly and gives him a neck breaking slap that sends him flying and landing on the floor with so much force that it caused an explosion.

"Fine then." Mr Mike says and gestures with his left hand for Leonardo to step forward. He stretches his hand and his own blade materialises in his hands.

I am unable to see Leonardo due to the dust that filled the area he landed. There is total silence. The dust clears and exposes a Leonardo that is resting on his googlena's body.

'Damn. That googlena is insanely fast. Wasn't it standing in front of the mimekey."

Leonardo stands up.

"Let's go." Leonardo and his father shout together as their beasts stands at their side. They both zoom forward and clash their blades together, releasing a powerful sonic wave that didn't reach me luckily. They shift back swiftly, rushing forward again and clashing their swords again, releasing another powerful sonic wave. A fast paced fight ensues. Mr Mike is extremely fast at sword fighting as he moves his hands in a blur of motions, sending invisible forces at Leonardo at the same time. But surprisingly, Leonardo keeps up with him, clashing blades with him in a blur of motions and dodging or countering the force being shot at him. They rush backwards again, zooming forward and clashing blades together, causing another powerful explosion that sends Leonardo flying, but left his father unmoved. Leonardo managed to land a rough landing, sliding with his feet till he stops, gasping for air. I look back at his unshaked dad.

At this point. The battle fields looks like a nightmare zone, with holes and cracks everywhere.

"Is that all?" His father asks in a cold tone. "I haven't even reach twenty percent of my power."

Leonardo shakes his head and straightenes himself.

"Same. I think?" He says with a look of confusion on his face.

He zooms forward and attempts to attack his dad, but stops and stumps on the ground hard, causing a big crack and a mini explosion below him. His father and his mimekey are suddenly thrown off balance, and he takes the opportunity and zooms pass them. He stops behind them, psmoking. He suddenly gasps for air and grabs the left side of his chest as he coughs out some blood. He falls on his knees and coughs out more blood. His googlena zooms to him and sits by his side. His dad on the other hand, have a big and deep looking cut on his left arm and is now fused with the mimekey. He is covered in white mimekey's hair, has a four feet tail and he's well built. I stare, speechless. How I know all the feets? Well, I study magiments(study of measurements.)

'Leonardo is a god damn genius. He managed to attack through the mimekey's defence. But how?' I smile, feeling impressed.

"You are quite smart, you know. You used your anti-gravity magic to throw us off guard, making us as light and unbalanced as feather in air. Then you increased your strength by increasing your gravity around you and your hand, making you very strong enough to cut through my defence. I see, you found a way to attack through mimekey's defence. I'd like to see you try now we're fused." Mr Mike's deep voice booms. "And, I see you used the Vicente's forward dance. I am impressed son. You made papa proud. But I guess it affected you badly." He says in a proud tone and surprisingly, wipes a tear from his left eye. "Now I'd love to see you fuse with your beast. That is an advise from me. If you fuse with them, you'll have unlimited access to their specialties. Believe me, I do want you to win." He adds and gestures with his left hand, for Leonardo to do as he said and come for him.

Leonardo stands up and places his hand on his googlena's back. "Are you ready, girl?" He asks the googlena.

'Wait, what? A girl?'

The googlena nods her head instantly and happily, obviously thinking, 'Oh my gosh. I am going to be one, with my hot owner. Squeee.'

He looks at the googlena and smiles, then he instantly fuses with it. He is covered in cool orange fur with black patches, has long and sharp pointed fangs and claws, a one feet tail and looks very well built.

'So this is the origin of werewolves and other were creatures.' I laugh a sadistic laugh.

" Wow. I'm impressed. Now. How about a good hand to hand combat?" His father asks and is instantly in his front. He punches Leonardo, a powerful punch that releases waves and sends Leonardo flying.

Leonardo manages to hold himself and stops abruptly. He zooms forward and punches his father, releasing a more powerful wave. There is a sudden loud crack sound. Mr Mike stares at Leonardo in shock, zooming backwards immediately and stopping abruptly.

"Impossible. It can't be." He says in calm shock. He, zooms back again. But the moment he stops, Leonardo appears before him and gives him another punch that surprisingly sends his father shifting back with his legs digging into the ground. He zooms forward again and begins raining punches on his dad, sending him shifting back and catching up with him, only to give him more punches. The punches are very fast, powerful and are blurs of motion, and they released a lot of sonic waves. He keeps on, in this cycle. Scattering the forest and not giving his father a breathing space. He punches his father a more powerful punch. And this time, there is a loud shattering noise, creating a shocked expression on his father's face.

"This can't be." Mr Mike says as a grin appears on his face. "I see my plan worked. Finally a competition." His grin widens.

Leonardo launches another punch, and succeeds in sending his father flying and bleeding from the nose. His father lands on the floor and causes a powerful explosion, filling everywhere with dust. Suddenly, there is a loud laughter coming from Mr Mike's side. His voice booming loudly and giving me goosebumps. I look at Leonardo who is gasping for air. He coughs out a little blood and I guessed he is reaching his limit.

Surprisingly, his father is standing, like nothing happened.

"Son. You are extremely genuine. A born genius prodigy. You perfected the technique you used to slash my arm. I never knew you'd be this powerful. I mean, all through my life. You're the first to break through mimekey's defence. And although it is powerful, it has a weakness." He pause. "Which is, the user has to create a particular level defence of his choice, but once it is shattered. The mimekey has to go for a break. And the higher the shield, the more effect it has on user and the mimekey and the more time it takes to be reactivated. Unfortunately for me, I guess I underestimated you and set it in supreme level. Meaning, now it is on a break." He pause again. "But why for him?" Mr Mike asks and points at me. I look at him in confusion, and as if seeing me. He turns and looks at me with a wide sadistic grin. "Too bad you can't defeat me yet...." He pauses and laughs loud. Then stops and looks back at Leonardo with a serious expression on his face. "Because I have this. Sonic king." He says calmly and instantly a huge six feet blue wolf appears by his side. He instantly fuses with it and is covered in blue fur, has medium sized fangs, long claws and a four feet tail and is well built. He smiles widely and gestures Leonardo to come for him, with his left hand.

'So this is the true origin of werewolves.'

"Nooooooo. Dont." I whispered out, not still able to shout.

"Mr Mike. Please stop this. It isn't right. What is wrong with you?" I say, trying to shout. But it only came out in whispers, again.

He turns and looks at me, engulfing me in fear.

'Does is it mean he heard me?'

'Nah. It can't be.' I begin shaking like a scared child.

Leonardo rushes forward and is about to punch his dad. But the man turns and look at him with such speed, that I and Leonardo are shocked and taken unawares too.

"Rest, child." He says, causing a powerful sonic wave to send Leonardo flying as blood escapes through his nose, mouth and ears. "Good boy." He adds, releasing another sonic wave that smashes Leonardo to the ground, causing him to cough out more blood on impact, and causing the ground to shatter under the pressure. It releases a huge amount of sonic wave and dust flying in a ring shape. I stare at the sight in horror, wondering what went wrong.

I felt a sudden rush of rage explode in me as the dust clears and Leonardo body lay on the ground, looking lifeless.
