"I understand you're all worried," I began, but Elder Dante cut me off before I could continue.
"I'll go alone, and that's final," he stated firmly. "You must stay far away from this mess and focus on gathering information about the Lycan in the Bay Shifter pack."
Ma's eyes snapped to me, her expression unreadable. "Have you told Elder Dante everything?" she asked.
A faint blush crept up my neck, and I shook my head, feeling foolish. My silence did not go unnoticed. Nessa's sharp gaze remained locked on me, her curiosity palpable. I exhaled in frustration before speaking up.
"We should all sit down and discuss this properly," I said, glancing around the room.
