Chapter 10

"It's not as impressive as you're making it out to be," I said, attempting to downplay Ezra's praise. "I just happen to know a few things."

However, Ezra remained convinced. To him, I was the very person the beast god had prophesied—the one destined to bring wonders to the White Tiger Tribe.

"It must be you," he declared, his golden eyes shining with a blend of awe and loyalty.

In that instant, his gaze went beyond that of a mate. He looked at me as a disciple would regard their savior.

I paused briefly, uncertain how to react. But seeing his steadfast belief, I chose not to dispute it further.

If Ezra's unquestioning faith in me could facilitate my plans, why not utilize it?

The beastmen weren't known for their foresight, but with Ezra's support, they would follow my guidance without hesitation.
