Always about Business

Earlier Lacie had asked her daughter to sit with her son while they went over to greet their new in-law. She didn't want them to insult her family again because of her children.

She hated for Mila to be disrespected because of her own mistake. And so, if her children would be the reason, she would rather find a way to make it stop.

"Stay here, Abby and Axel. We'll be right back."

After the short greeting that didn't last a minute, as the family wasn't welcoming per usual, Lacie returned to the table to find just her son.

"Axel, where is your sister?"

The young boy, who was also as timid as his aunt, stood up. "S-she..."

"Speak!" Lacie barked, her voice raised enough to get other people's attention.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis ran over, trying to get their daughter to calm down.

"Lacie, you know how he is... If he's scared, he can't say anything. You need to re-" Mrs. Grace was trying to settle the matter.
