Luo Chuan watched the lottery roulette spin rapidly, his attention focused on the prize that awaited him.
After a few moments, he gave the command to stop.
The roulette slowed and finally came to a halt, landing on a blue area.
"Congratulations to the host for winning the immersive virtual reality game 'Tower of Trial.'"
"Shop renovation in progress. Estimated time: 6 hours."
A game?
Luo Chuan blinked in disbelief. Did he hear that correctly?
"Playing games = training?" he thought, unsure if he was just imagining things.
Fortunately, after a few previous draws, Luo Chuan had grown used to the system's unpredictable outcomes. He was more intrigued than surprised.
Sensing his confusion, the system immediately clarified: "When players participate in the 'Tower of Trial,' the experiences they gain can be fed back to their body."
Luo Chuan: ...
The system is amazing!
You can become stronger just by playing games. Luo Chuan even found himself admiring the system for its brilliance.
Now his curiosity about the "Tower of Trial" game was at an all-time high.
It was late at night, and with six hours to go before the shop renovation was complete, Luo Chuan decided to wait until the next day to explore the game.
As time passed, morning arrived in the blink of an eye.
After a quick wash, Luo Chuan went downstairs, feeling excited.
Meanwhile, Yao Ziyan, who had just emerged from her room, noticed Luo Chuan's unusually upbeat mood.
"I feel like the boss seems really excited today..." she thought, a puzzled expression on her face.
Usually, Luo Chuan had the demeanor of an unapproachable, stoic figure. Today, however, he was acting a little different.
After a brief moment of contemplation, Yao Ziyan shrugged off the thought and continued her morning routine.
Downstairs, Luo Chuan entered the shop and was taken aback by what he saw.
The shelves that had been empty were now filled. On the wall facing the door was a new LCD screen.
The right side of the shop had undergone a dramatic transformation. Ten new seats had appeared, each with a silver-white helmet resting on them. In front of each seat was an additional LCD screen, likely intended to display the game interface.
Despite the significant changes, the small shop didn't seem crowded at all. If any long-established sects saw this, they would be amazed. It was a perfect example of spatial manipulation!
Perhaps it was more appropriate to call it a spatial formation.
"Boss, what are all these?" Yao Ziyan asked, coming down from the second floor and immediately noticing the changes.
"An immersive virtual reality game," Luo Chuan replied.
Yao Ziyan blinked in confusion, not fully understanding what he meant.
"I'll show you," Luo Chuan said with a smile, sitting down in one of the seats and picking up a helmet.
As soon as he placed the helmet on his head, Luo Chuan felt his consciousness disconnect from his body and enter a dark, unfamiliar space. His physical body remained motionless, but he now had the sensation of being in a completely different world.
Strangely, his spiritual energy was absent, and he felt like an ordinary human.
"First-time login detected. Do you wish to create an account?" a mechanical voice asked, echoing in the dark space.
At the same time, glowing text appeared in the void, displaying two options:
1. Yes
2. No
