Meanwhile, Yao Ziyan observed Luo Chuan's figure on the monitor, watching as he was swiftly defeated by a giant wolf. She felt a pang of worry. However, when she saw him resurrect almost immediately, her concern eased.

"Could this thing let people experience battles with monsters?" Yao Ziyan couldn't help but speculate.

It turns out, Yao Ziyan was right. Inside the Tower of Trials, Luo Chuan decided to withdraw from the game. A sudden feeling of weightlessness washed over him, and he was once again aware of his body.

He removed the helmet with a deep exhale, still feeling slightly disoriented. For a moment, he was unsure whether he had been in the endless grassland or back in the shop.

"Boss, did you see that image on the screen when you put on that silver helmet?" Yao Ziyan asked, pointing at the monitor.

Luo Chuan nodded and explained, "This is an VR helmet, and that's an LCD screen."

Yao Ziyan thought for a moment before responding, "So this is the new product in our store?"

Luo Chuan nodded. "You could say that. When you wear the helmet, you're transported to a game called the Tower of Trials. In it, you can fight, and the experience gained feeds back into your real body."

Yao Ziyan was momentarily taken aback, her face displaying a look of disbelief. She may not have fully understood everything, but being as sharp as she was, she quickly grasped the most crucial detail: playing games could make one stronger.

The idea seemed almost too good to be true. When did training become so easy?

"You should try it," Luo Chuan suggested. "It's free."

"Free?" Yao Ziyan asked, surprised.

Having worked at the store for some time, Yao Ziyan understood how important Luo Chuan considered the store's rules. He had never made an exception before, so she was understandably curious why he would allow this.

Luo Chuan smiled and reassured her, "Of course. When you signed the employee contract, it stated that store staff can use non-consumable items for free."

Yao Ziyan's eyes lit up as realization dawned on her.

"Well, how do I use the VR helmet?" she asked, already eager to try it for herself.

She looked almost like a little girl excited about a new toy.

"Just put the helmet on and relax your mind..." Luo Chuan instructed.

Following his directions, Yao Ziyan placed the helmet on her head and calmed her thoughts.

After a few moments, she felt a strange sensation in her mind, as if she were drifting.

To her surprise, she found herself in a completely dark space.

"Now that you've entered the starting space, you need to register an account," Luo Chuan's voice echoed, which helped ease her tension.

The VR helmet allowed her to feel what was happening within the game world while still maintaining awareness of the outside. If she wanted to block out external sensations, she could choose to do so, but for now, she was content with the connection.

Under Luo Chuan's guidance, Yao Ziyan successfully entered the first floor of the Tower of Trials, standing on the vast prairie.
