The Shop of Wonders

"I waited four whole days! I finally bought it!" Ying Wuji's voice was filled with uncharacteristic excitement.

"What's so special about this nectar?" Xia Yuan asked, confused.

He was genuinely surprised by Ying Wuji's reaction. In Xia Yuan's impression, Ying Wuji was always stoic and indifferent, almost emotionless. Seeing him this animated over a mere item was utterly baffling.

"There's an introduction about it here," Ying Wuji said, his excitement quickly giving way to his usual calmness. He pointed to a board on the shelf. "See for yourself. I'm going to confirm things with the boss."

With that, Ying Wuji turned and walked toward Luo Chuan.

"Introduction?"

Frowning slightly, Xia Yuan approached the shelf and began to read.

"Nectar: Brewed from the mythical Fountain of Life..."

"Huh? Fountain of Life? I've never even heard of such a thing on the Azure Continent!" Xia Yuan muttered to himself, his skepticism growing.

But he suppressed his doubts and continued reading.

"Effect: Rejuvenates vitality. Defies death."

Xia Yuan's eyebrows shot up. "What?! This is ridiculous!"

Then he read further, noticing the fine print: it could restore vitality.

For a moment, his face was frozen in shock before he quickly reread the description to make sure he hadn't misunderstood.

"Are they serious? It can actually extend life?!"

His eyes darted to the price listed at the bottom of the board.

"Price: 100,000 spirit crystals per bottle."

Xia Yuan's jaw dropped.

"This kind of divine object, capable of restoring vitality, only costs 100,000 spirit crystals?!"

To him, this was practically free. A treasure with such an effect should be priceless!

Initially, Xia Yuan had been skeptical. But after recalling the excitement on Ying Wuji's face, he couldn't help but reconsider. Maybe the description wasn't an exaggeration after all.

Meanwhile, Ying Wuji had reached the counter. Holding the bottle of nectar carefully, he handed over a space ring.

"There are 100,000 spirit crystals inside," he said to Yao Ziyan.

The demoness took the ring, verified the spirit crystals, and returned the empty ring to him.

A radiant smile spread across Ying Wuji's face as he held the nectar. Finally, he had what he needed to restore his vitality!

Back at the shelves, Xia Yuan, still in shock, began inspecting other items.

"If they're selling something that can extend life, the other products must be extraordinary too," he muttered to himself.

His eyes widened as he read more product descriptions:

"Coke: Instantly heals injuries."

"Spicy Noodles: Temporarily boosts strength without side effects."

"Instant Noodles: Multiplies cultivation speed tenfold for one hour."

"What kind of shop is this...?" Xia Yuan murmured in disbelief.

Dazed, he approached Ying Wuji, who was admiring his newly purchased nectar. Lowering his voice, Xia Yuan asked, "Brother Wuji, who exactly is the owner of this shop?"

In Xia Yuan's mind, even a royal beast couldn't possibly create such miraculous products. This had to be the work of someone extraordinary.

Ying Wuji glanced at him, confused. "Didn't you see him already?" He pointed to Luo Chuan, who was reclining in a chair at the store's entrance, basking in the sunlight.

Xia Yuan's expression twisted in surprise.

At first glance, Luo Chuan had seemed like nothing more than an ordinary young man—a figurehead at best. But now, it was clear that this "ordinary" shopkeeper was anything but simple.

"The hot water is so slow! Hurry up!" a voice complained from the group of students nearby.

The comment pulled Xia Yuan's attention. He glanced over and immediately froze, his eyes widening in shock yet again.

"That's... vitality spring water?!" he blurted out, unable to contain himself.

He knew how precious the vitality spring water was. Its water was a rare treasure, capable of aiding cultivation breakthroughs and significantly enhancing one's strength. Yet here, these students were casually using it as hot water.

Xia Yuan clutched his chest as if in physical pain.

"What a waste... What a violent waste!" he muttered.

The idea of using such a miraculous resource for something so trivial was almost too much for him to bear.
