"AAAAGGGHHHHHHH!!!"

Melissa's horrifying scream echoed through the entire field of gigantic flowers.

Her breathing was heavy, the dense fog making it even harder for her to breathe properly.

What she saw in front of her was... terrifying.

A hideous creature stood there, Kaelen too... its monstrous canines cutting deep into her fragile neck and shoulder... her feet went limp, her own blood pouring onto the ground... turning it crimson.

'Why is she not moving? Why is she not screaming? Why does she look... dead?' Melissa's mind raced, emotions and thoughts filling it up to the brim. She just stood there... unable to move.

The hideous creature resembled something similar to a humanoid wolf, but not quite one. It had four arms and half a chopped tail.

Blackish-grey fur shrouded its form; it's one remaining eye full of rage.

Its body seemed to have been covered in many gruesome wounds, blood crawling out of them, almost turning the creature's fur from blackish-grey to dark crimson.

The hideous creature did not terrify Melissa... what did, was seeing Kaelen... in that state.

The creature raised two of its monstrous arms and grasped Kaelen's motionless body, its canines dug even deeper into her, and with one single pull... her arm and shoulder ripped right off, detaching from her body.

No scream came out of Kaelen's mouth; she did not even blink. Her eyes were full of life once... now turned into just a hollow of their past.

It hit Melissa... she had lost her... she had lost her friend.

The creature started to chew on her flesh, her bones getting crushed in its monstrous mouth. It continued to chew, staring right at Melissa who was practically paralysed.

Melissa's body shook involuntarily, a shiver running down her spine. She lowered her gaze... staring down on the ground.

The titan continues to chew, judging the taste of its food, and as if not finding it worthy for its taste buds... it spits the chewed flesh out, the gooey substance landing a few metres away from Melissa.

It then brought Kaelen's lifeless body in front of its massive form and ripped her body in half as if she were a stick... blood burst into the air like a gruesome fountain.

It faced up and opened its monstrous maw, then it brought one of the ripped pieces of Kaelen's body up to his maw; crimson blood poured out of her ripped body... falling straight into its mouth with chunks of ripped guts. The titan gulped it down, its maw covered in it, blood soaked into its fur. It seemed to have been... smiling?

A drop of cold blood splashed on Melissa's left cheek and trailed down her jawline. She fell to her knees. seeing the carnage, Melissa's stomach convoulsed, expelling it's contents. Her eyes hollow.

Suddenly, a sword pierced through the titan's back, coming out of between his chest. "Captain! Get up!" A voice sounded.

The titan let out a growl and shook violently. Throwing Kaelen's mutilated body parts aside.

The sword was retreated by its user and pulled right out of its massive body. "Captain! Get up you useless bitch!" The voice sounded again.

Melissa, who was facing down, lifted her head up... witnessing the carnage and the scarred man who was holding back the titan all by himself... but the weak could not do anything for much longer.

The titan moved all four of its massive hands and grabbed the scarred man's sword, effortlessly snapping it in two. It used its other arm to grab the scarred man's head, its mighty hand threatening to crush his head in his hand.

Melissa witnessed it all... she wanted to move; she needed to move... she sprinted forward, her eyes finally forming tears... she was filled with rage and sadness, but the rage overshadowed the sadness.

"AAARGGHHH!!!" she let out a loud shout that was filled with flames of her immense rage; the air turned dry, her lips creaked... and everything around her turned white.
