Chapter 6

Ahn Jong's phone rang early in the morning she was still asleep when the phone rang written on the caller was Han sung. 

"What do she want now? Ahn Jong said to herself. 

"Hello Han sung. 

"Ahn Jong how are you?

"Fine until you disrupted my sleep is there any problem? 

"I'm sorry for disrupting your sleep but Chung Ho just called me. 

"Chung Ho? We are not supposed to have any problem with him.

"Well he said he would like to meet up with you. 

"Me?

"Yes who else? Ahn Jong you told him my name. 

"I'm sorry I was in a tight corner then.

"Tell you made a mistake and change your name. 

"Alright bye, Ahn Jong hangs up, Han sung sends the details of where she would meet him. She prepared breakfast chattered a cab to take ji ah to school and left. She met Chung Ho who was already there.

"Welcome, greeted Chung Ho. 

"Cut the greeting short and tell me what you want,said Ahn Jong rudely,ignoring his greetings.

"My father wants to meet you...

"That's a No, I went on a date not because I want to get married but because of a friend, beside my name is not Han sung it was a slip of tongue it is Min...Ahn, yes Min Ahn. 

"Min Ahn my father wants to know the kind of person you are nothing more we are not opting for marriage. 

I'm totally good, bye. 

"Min Ahn! 

"Bye.

Ahn Jong left the restaurant leaving a devastated Chung Ho. Han sung called her and asked her how the date went. 

"Hello Ahn Jong. 

"Han sung. 

"Did it go well?

"Totally not. 

"What is wrong again? 

"He wants me to meet his father. 

"That's marriage. 

"He's father wants to know who I am but men can be funny sometimes. 

"So what did you tell him?

"I told him I can't go, simple and short. 

"But did you clarify the name?

"Yes.

"Can you still go to work? 

"I have to I have been absent for a while, my colleagues would be worried, I'll speak with you later. 

"Okay, bye.

"Bye.

Ahn Jong boards a taxi that takes her to her workplace, she went to their office. 

"Ahn Jong, Im woon rushed and hugged her.

"Where have you been? asked Do yun. 

"Busy with something, replied Ahn jong. 

"Well you have to meet Mrs Chong moon let her know you are back from your,'vacation '

"Okay, Ahn Jong changes to her hotel uniform and meets Mrs Chong moon. She knocked,somebody told her to come in. She saw Mrs Chong moon and Chin kwan, Chin kwan was busy scrolling through her phone she did not care to know who came in. 

"Ahn Jong. 

"Good morning ma'am.

"Why have you been absent? 

"I have been busy lately. 

"Busy? Hmmm what do you know you are busy with? Chin kwan said underr her breath, Ahn Jong looked at her angrily but kept her cool.

"Well since you are back, Absent fees without reasons had been deducted from your salary, you may leave, Ahn Jong turned back but Ahn Jong heard Chin kwan talking, Ahn Jong bows and left the office. 

"Who knows whether she had been with her man friends and lied,she had been busy meeting men here and there...and Chin kwan went on talking, Ahn Jong closes the door she went on with her daily work routine and came home after her shift.

When ji ah had arrived at school she saw nude picture's of her mother she was really angry and annoyed she saw Il Seong laughing and chatting with her friends. 

""Il Seong! called angrily by ji ah.

"What's your problem ji ah? 

"What's your problem too?why do you have to print fake pictures of my mother? Asked ji ah angrily. 

"What are you going to do? Beat me?,punched,Il Seong wanted to hold her by the hands but ji ahput her down and started slapping her. 

"How dare you! How dare you!! Ji ah was crying and slapping Il Seong. She pushed Il Seong tothe ground and kept giving her slaps and punches no-one could separate them until Sang Hom rushed over and separated them by the time he had separated them alot of damages had been done Il Seong's face and eyes were swollen when ji ah had a little cut on her fore head, they were both admitted to the school sick bay, everyone was shocked and surprised who could have believed ji ah could fight back all along but kept quiet. 

"I couldn't believe ji ah could do such a thing to her, she has always been quiet and try to keep calm. 

"I feel happy that Il Seong had been dealt with she would know her place. 

"But I pity Il Seong, I passed the sick bay her face was swollen she was crying as they were treating it.

"Wgat about ji ah? 

"She was given a plaster. 

"That girl is really strong I guess she will no longer be bullied.

"Don't be too sure Il Seong can be really troublesome. 

"But Il Seong have got what she deserves.

Ji ah did not talk to anybody at school even Sang Hom who separated the fight everyone kept staring at her till school ended. Ji ah met her mum home already. 

"Mum you are home already? 

"Yes, my shift ended earlier. You have a plaster on your head, what happened. 

"Well mum I hit my head on my locker.

"Oh sorry dear did they apply ointments? 

"Yes mum you don't have to worry about me.

Okay, go and freshen up so I can dish out dinner.

"Okay Mum.
