Yur was born a slave. He lived in chains and pain--until the day he was sent to his death. But at death’s door, Yur learned a shocking truth: He wasn't a simple human.

He was a cursed half-breed, and the heir to Zulmasharr, the Demonic Realm.

Now, Yur is hunted by both humans and demons. His only goal is freedom.To survive, Yur must master his dark powers, rear demons as followers, and fight against all who wish him dead.

Rearing Demons

Yur reappeared in front of the obelisk. Glancing down, he discovered a new black tattoo emblazoned on his shoulders and chest; a pattern of countless small runes arranged in an extremely mysterious design that defied his understanding.

"So, this is the Star-Eclipsed Brand?" he murmured.

As he stared at the mark, an odd aura suddenly emanated from above. Looking upward, he saw something entirely new, a unique, celestial entity.

When did that black star appear? Hidden in the heavens, almost imperceptible, a flaming black star sat alone in the sky—dull and secretive. Despite its distance, Yur could see it with startling clarity, as if it were right beside him.
