Chapter 51: The Cursed Albino

Even the terrorists, who usually played with fire, were hesitant to provoke them. The Hand was a name that brought fear.

Moreover, now they had something to demand. They had no choice but to pretend to be weak and submissive.

Nobu Yoshioka was still in the office, sitting calmly as usual, and Albino made an excuse to go to the bathroom, hoping to relieve some of the pressure weighing on his mind... Negotiating with a cold-faced killer was not a comfortable task.

Albino was just an accountant, not a gangster strategist. If Albino's boss hadn't forced him, he would have chosen to stay away and let this matter resolve itself without his involvement.

As Albino washed his face with cold water, he felt the coolness seep into his hot skin. Slowly, he began to calm himself, but a sense of unease still gnawed at his heart.

Suddenly, Albino saw a dark shadow move in the mirror, slipping in quickly.

Someone in a white suit entered through the window, as if floating from the floor to the ceiling, their movement as fast as lightning, undetected by the eyes of ordinary humans. Before Albino could react, his body was slammed hard to the ground.

With a soft 'crack' sound, a sharp sword appeared so close to Albino's face, adding tension to the air.

Albino panicked and closed his eyes, waiting for the pain to come.

However, the pain never came.

When Albino opened his eyes, what he saw was the tip of the sharp sword just an inch from his eyeball, so close that he could feel the breeze created by the blade.

Albino felt his pants wet, a shame that made him even more anxious—he had just lost control.

Lance glanced down at Albino's body, noticing the clear fear on his face. A disgusted smile curled on his lips, but Lance quickly restrained himself, biting his lip and averting his gaze.

With agile movement, Lance knelt and placed the hidden sword against Albino's throat. Lance's voice was low but firm, almost like a whisper carrying a threat: "Buddy, please cooperate. If not…"

"I understand! I understand!" Albino almost sobbed, his eyes wide with fear. He immediately turned his body and tried with all his might to distance himself from the sharp sword, but the deep fear still dominated him.

Even though there was only an inch of distance, Albino felt as if the tip of the blade had already pierced his flesh, adding to the panic that nearly drove him to madness.

"Not bad, a good attitude." Lance then grinned sharply, his expression full of disdain. "Now, you need to speak nicely to me. Alright, let's start with Wolfgang Braun's assets. How much do you have in your hands?"

The albino, whose knees were pressed down, trembled in fear, and his face instantly turned very pale, like someone staring death in the face: "If I say it... that man will kill me."

Lance smiled slightly, a smile that conveyed no kindness at all. He leaned closer to the albino, narrowing the distance between them. At the same time, Lance pushed the hidden sword slightly forward, adding pressure and making a shallow mark of blood on the albino's neck. "But if you don't tell me, I will tell you that I will kill you. Now, there is only one person with a knife to your throat, and that person is not you, is it?"

Lance applied more pressure to his sword, and the sharp sound of metal touching the albino's skin was so clear. Lance's voice was soft yet full of threat: "This is the artery, your carotid artery. If I make a hole in it, the floor here will be sprayed red with your blood..."

"NO! NO! NO!" The albino screamed in panic, like a monkey that had fallen into water, dancing in fear, but his body was pinned down and unable to move. The albino could only tremble, his lips quivering as he finally managed to utter the words in a choked voice: "I control the assassin organization, three hotels, two casinos, and... the finances of a nightclub..."

"Very good," Lance said calmly, his smile widening. He then lifted his knee and pressed deeper into the albino's body, who seemed to have lost all form of defense.

Lance took a chocolate from his pocket and, with a swift motion, stuffed the chocolate into the albino's shirt pocket, as if it were the most normal thing. "This is a military-grade remote-controlled bomb. This bomb will explode as soon as I press the remote control button. Now, go back to your office, prepare all the information about this industry, and give it to me."

The albino looked horrified, his eyes wide open, and his body began to tremble even more. "If I hand over that information to you, will you really let me go?"

Lance shrugged casually, as if everything was guaranteed, and his answer was calm yet assertive. "I guarantee you will be safe."

"I... I understand." The albino, with no other choice, finally stood up with trembling steps, trying to hold back the tears that were about to burst. He knew that if he failed, he was certain that his life would be over.

Lance then swiftly swung his hidden sword with a sharp motion and reminded him in a voice that was flat yet full of threat: "You still have a guest in your office, so don't get caught. If you do, even if I don't kill you, your guest might."

Albino shivered again, his body instantly tensing as if all his muscles were vibrating. He straightened up in front of the mirror, but Albino's eyes were now vacant, as if he couldn't comprehend the reality that had just occurred. Lance's presence seemed to vanish in the darkness of fear that enveloped him.

As soon as Albino entered his office, he was immediately confronted by the icy cold face of Nobu Yoshioka. Nobu stood tall, his gaze oppressive, as if he could see straight into Albino's soul.
