~{FRANCES' POV}~
*
"What's the point in him being alive when you're with someone else? Couldn't you at least save him that torture? Wasn't it enough that he died for you? Why then should he come to witness your moving on to someone else?"
His words kept ringing in my head as I held his gaze.
He was doing it again.
Saying mean things to me when we knew exactly what happened.
"You should leave," I said in a cold tone but he remained put while glaring at me.
"Or else what?" He challenged but instead of giving a reply, I was about to walk past him when he caught my wrist and pulled me back so I could face him.
I glared at him and tried to free my hand from his grip but couldn't.
"Let go," I warned.
"Answer my question," he demanded but I struggled to free myself and in doing so, I unintentionally teleported us somewhere unknown.
With a perplexed look, Joe looked around as he tried to understand how he landed there before looking at me to explain myself.
"Where are we?"
But instead of giving him a response, I turned around and began to walk without minding if I was in the past, future or another realm.
"Frances!" He rushed up to me and caught my wrist only to let it go almost immediately.
"Don't I deserve an explanation?" He demanded.
"I don't owe you any explanation, Joe. You brought this upon yourself," I stated grimly while walking on until he blocked my way and glared at me.
"Take us back."
"Tell that to my cell," I said and maneuver around him, causing him to follow me again since he had no other option.
"I don't want to be in the same place as you Frances," he said and I came to a stop and faced him.
"Then why do you keep following me?" I asked.
"Because you brought me here. Take me back!" He stressed his words and I scoffed before continuing my journey.
But after a while, I stopped and tried to figure out where we had wound up.
Everywhere was covered in flowers and not just any flower but roses which was quite strange.
The more I tried to figure out where we were, the more confused I got and without saying a word, I took his hand and teleported us back only for us to land somewhere entirely different and far more strange.
This time we were in a jungle.
"Frances, tell me you're doing this on purpose just to punish me," Joe said but I ignored him and observed my surroundings.
There was a beautiful water fountain and the more I observed the trees the more I realized they looked like houses which were terribly foreign and weird to me. Thankfully we were on a small hill.
"Frances, where are we?" Joe's voice shook but I didn't look at him until he grabbed my hand and pointed in a particular direction.
Following his finger, I went completely still when I found a huge creature like a giant carrying a huge watermelon positioned at his shoulder area.
Stunned, I took a step backward and in doing so, my footsteps made a sound and it drew the monster's attention to us instantly.
"Frances, get us out of here!" Joe panicked and so did I when the giant dropped the watermelon and made a loud sound like a siren with its mouth.
I wasn't sure what it was doing but I was scared and due to that, I quickly grabbed Joe's hand and tried to teleport us out of there but couldn't.
"Don't tell me you can't teleport us back!" He said in alarm.
"Stop talking!" I yelled at him while trying to focus but when the doors of every tree house opened and other giant monsters began to come out, fear took over completely and all I could do was tell Joe; "Run!"
