Surprise

Arjun bought 10 kg of spirit rice, and got some vegetables as complementary, three spirit chicken, and set of knives, used for cooking. The total cost was 9 low grade spirit stones. Except for the Spirit chicken Arjun stored everything else in a storage bag, because living things could not be stored inside. 

Arjun was surprised to find that the spirit rice in the sect is much cheaper than in silver kingdom, he heard from the conversations of the Orphanage's chef that the Spirit rice eaten by the dean costed 3 low grade Spirit stones per 10Kgs, whereas he bought it only for 2 low grade spirit stones. 

Arjun went back home around 8 'o' clock and butchered the spirit chicken. Although the Spirit chicken was costly, costing around 2 low grade spirit stones for each chicken, Arjun was happy that he got around 12 kgs of meat from them, arjun put aside a small portion for dinner and then stored the remaining in one storage bag, along with the rice. The storage bags will prevent them from spoiling. 

Arjun then started to prepare dinner for himself. After eating the meal Arjun felt some Qi enter his body through the food and started to convert it into Celestial Qi. This amount of Qi is equal to one-tenth of the Qi he gains in single cultivation session. Arjun felt happy to have tried this method, during the one-month cultivation classes Elder Chow has told them about the Qi present in Spirit stones, Spiritual food, and other treasures. 

Arjun wanted to try this method from half a month, and finally he tried it and felt that he should eat this type of meal two times a day, a Qi refining stage low grade cultivator (1,2,3 stages) needs to eat only two times a day. Arjun wanted to try cultivating with the spirit stones also, but he kept this idea aside because he didn't know how many spirit stones, he would need to invest to become an alchemist and a formation master. 

After that Arjun started to assess his net worth. Arjun went through a Storage bag and said to himself "Sigh! I currently have only 140 low grade spirit Stones, a first-tier low grade Sword, worth somewhere around 90 Spirit stones, a second-tier mid-grade Sword worth around 170 or 180 spirit stones, four spirit grass, worth 2 spirit stones, and four ninth tier low grade iron, worth around 16 Spirit stones, meaning that I have a net worth of 4 mid-grade spirit stones and 32 low grade spirit stones". 

"Sigh! Although this is a substantial sum, this will not be enough, if I want to reach the top. But, for now, there are no ways for me to earn Spirit stones, until I become an alchemist or a formation master, and with the help of the system I can easily become one to earn money" Arjun smiled and went to sleep after bathing.

After cultivating Arjun opened the system and observed that the system gave him ten points again, but this time Arjun decided to save the points for any future uses, instead of using them right now. started to prepare breakfast, and after preparing breakfast Arjun started exploring the Celestial mist peak. Arjun was surprised to find that the scenery at the peak was beautiful, but it was also cooler, because of its height, and then went to the library in the sect. 

There Arjun found hundreds of thousands of books, some had general information about the Cultivation world, some contained information about beasts, some had the experience of the disciples written in it, some had worldly things like, how to avoid bald head, how to make your skin look more fairer, there were even some exotic books. 

Arjun thought that these books were very useful and took a book called '100 basic pills, their prices and basic information' 

Arjun went through the book for half an hour and looked at the clock in the library showing 11:30 am, and thought 'Walking to the library has taken almost 4 hours, and I will have to walk for another hour to reach Alchemy classes, and then to reach home I will have to walk for three hours, sigh! I will just write this book under my name at the front desk, take it back, I will visit the library once every week'.

Arjun understood why this senior brother became so good towards him, it was because he saw that Arjun belonged to Celestial Mist Peak, one of the top thirteen peaks, meaning that Arjun has a chance of 70% to ascend to Foundation building realm successfully. 

After registering the book, Arjun kept it inside and went to the alchemy classes and then to the formation classes. Arjun also coincidentally ran into Siri while coming from the formation classes, and after spending some time with her he returned home and then started cultivating, seeing that the sun was about to set. 

After that he took a bath, ate dinner, and went to sleep. 

The next day Arjun woke up, and after that he took a bath, cultivated, ate breakfast, cultivated, read the book he took from library, and the books he got from alchemy and formation classes, then went to attend the classes and after that he came home, and cultivated, ate dinner, and finally went to sleep. 

Arjun followed the same timetable for a week, and today Arjun was cultivating after eating breakfast. Arjun progressed a lot in the week, his Qi Sea got bigger by 50%, Arjun was even tempted to cultivate using the Spirit stones, but he retained control over his desires and disbanded the idea. 

Just As Arjun completed cultivating and opened the book, he heard a knock on the main door. At first Arjun was tensed, thinking who it was because he didn't know anyone on the celestial mist peak what if someone came to collect protection fee, but later, Arjun relaxed on seeing that the formation was Active, and went to the front door. 

Arjun was surprised on opening the door because he saw Pavitra, Siri, and Ahalya standing there, in royal blue colored sarees, the uniform for the outer court sect female disciples.

Arjun understood that they have also become Qi cultivation realm cultivators and said "Congratulations, three of you". 

"Thank you, Arjun" the three of them said to him. 

Arjun invited them inside for breakfast. Arjun chatted with the three of them and got to know that they all became cultivators last night while meditating, and today, early in the morning they informed the elder. Luckily, only four other disciples in their batch ascended to the Qi cultivation stage within this week, making it easier for them to join the Celestial Mist Peak.

"We just asked the Senior sister at the Peak disciple management hall, to give us abodes nearest to you, and luckily, they were vacant" Ahalya replied with a smile. 

The Celestial Mist Peak only around 70 disciples, not only the Clestial Mist Peak but all the top 12 peaks had only double-digit no. of disciples. 

After breakfast, the three of them were surprised to find some unrefined but gentle Qi in them. Arjun noticed the change in their expression and said, "don't worry, this is the Spiritual food said by Elder chow, cultivate quickly before the Qi disperses". 

The three of them started cultivating, Ahalya and Siri occupied the meditation rooms, while Pavitra sat in one of the two bedrooms to cultivate. 

Arjun just sat in the living room and started to read the Alchemy and Formations book, which he had already completed. 

After two hours they completed refining the Qi and came to the living room. 

Pavitra with a smile on her face said "Arjun, thank you very much. The cultivation process was very smooth using this spiritual food" 

Ahalya also said "Arjun, thank you for your generosity" 

"Arjun, I feel like I will advance quicker to the second level of Qi refining stage, if I use this method, and I also attend the Spirit chef auxiliary cultivation classes, and it will be helpful for me to cook food with Qi in it to advance as a Spiritual chef. Arjun, can you accompany me to buy the ingredients?" Siri asked Arjun with a cute face. 

Arjun saw her cute face, being an adult in his mind, he couldn't resist the cute face of little 9 years girl in front of him and agreed "Oh, Ok, I will definitely accompany you". 

Immediately listening to him Ahalya and Pavitra asked "Arjun, can I also accompany you" at the same time. 

Arjun looked at them and with a smile he said "Ok, then let us all go to the Dhanvantri Market today evening at 6 'o' clock" 

After that Arjun chatted with them for some time and then went to attend classes.
