Do The Right Thing

Ethan's POV

I stood frozen for a moment, watching as Iza fought the man with a level of skill I never expected. The way she moved—swift, calculated, precise—was almost mesmerizing. I had no idea she was capable of this. She took down Eli's men with nothing but her bare hands and legs, her every move executed with expert precision. A martial arts expert—I'll have to remember that.

But just as I started to believe she could handle anything, the situation took a deadly turn. Another man rushed toward her, gun raised. She managed to take him down, but it wasn't enough—before she could regain control, he twisted, gun still in hand, and suddenly, she was the one on the ground, vulnerable.

No amount of skill could outmatch a bullet. She had to know that. And yet, there was no fear in her eyes. No panic. Instead, she simply closed them as if accepting whatever came next.

Her sister's scream shattered the air.
