Is It Wrong To Hold Onto The Past?

A single sentence is enough to break a person's heart. A single word is enough to shake the very foundation of what makes somebody the person they are.



Kane Koyasu was indifferent to this mindset, until he experienced it himself — all that pain from just a singular word plagued him for a year, up until the start of his high school years as a freshman. It was taxing and painful. It had absolutely and utterly destroyed his wellbeing.



Yet, time can smooth over all things. He hoped that maybe... Just maybe, he could finally free himself of his shackles. However, maybe by fate playing a cruel joke on him or by random circumstance, he finds himself once again falling straight into its palms as he comes face-to-face with the one he thought he would never get the chance to see ever again.



"...If that's the case, why do I still hold onto the past...?"
