Chapter 5 Withdraw

Aina Saffa was momentarily dazed but quickly recalled the principal's briefing when she reported to school the day before.

Indeed, there was a student who was expelled, and the name was Ethen Cole.

So it was him!

However, looking at this handsome young man, he didn't seem like a bad student at all.

"Ethen Cole, what exactly did you do to get expelled?"

Aina Saffa, naturally kind hearted, couldn't help but ask.

What did I do?

Does standing up for justice count?

Expelled just three days before the university entrance exams, Ethen Cole felt downcast and had little interest in explaining the situation.

He merely gave Aina Saffa a polite smile and didn't respond.

Although Aina Saffa was curious, she refrained from pressing further when she saw that Ethen Cole didn't want to talk about it.

Efficiently reviewing the materials Ethen Cole submitted, she handed over his records and student files to him.

"From now on, your file and student status will no longer be managed by the school. Remember, you need to quickly transfer your file to the [Base Human Resources Center]. Every citizen of the base must have a verifiable file. If your file is lost, it will cause a lot of trouble."

Aina Saffa kindly reminded him.

"Thank you, teacher."

Ethen Cole placed the documents into his backpack, bowed respectfully, and left the office.

"Sigh, such a good kid, and yet he got expelled for some reason..."

Aina Saffa shook her head and was about to resume her nap.

Suddenly, she noticed an ID card on the desk.

The name on the ID card was Ethen Cole.

"Oh no, he forgot his ID card."

Aina Saffa was immediately jolted awake, grabbed the ID card, and hurriedly chased after him in her high heels.

After completing the formalities, Ethen Cole walked briskly down the school building.

As he reached the playground, he encountered a group of unruly students.

They were surrounding a young man with yellow hair, engaging in boisterous behavior.

The young man with yellow hair was Aniqi Lex, the one who used connections to have Ethen Cole expelled.

Aniqi Lex was not good at academics, but since his uncle Ahmad Lex was on the school board, the school had always indulged him, with his conspicuous yellow hair being a testament to this.

At that moment, Aniqi Lex's cronies noticed Ethen Cole approaching.

"Aniqi, look!"

One of the cronies said to Aniqi Lex.

Hearing this, Aniqi Lex lifted his gaze and happened to meet Ethen Cole's eyes from a distance.

Instantly, a palpable tension flared between the two.

Aniqi Lex was filled with resentment towards Ethen Cole for breaking his brow bone, leaving him disfigured. He had to get several stitches above his brow, and it was still wrapped in bandages.

Ethen Cole also hated Aniqi Lex intensely.

If it weren't for this guy in front of him, how could he have been expelled from school right before the college entrance exams? He ruined his chances of further education!

Ethen Cole's gaze suddenly turned cold.

"Hey, isn't that Ethen Cole? I heard you got expelled. Brother Aniqi here really sympathizes with you. I wonder how you're going to live without a chance to go to college? Are you going to dig through garbage in the slums? Hahaha."

Aniqi Lex mocked.

His group of friends joined in the jeering.

They were numerous and not afraid of Ethen Cole.

Moreover, they were at school, Aniqi Lex's territory, so they had no fear that Ethen Cole would retaliate.

Hearing Aniqi Lex's words, Ethen Cole's hands clenched tightly, making a cracking sound.

Just as he was about to explode, Hakimi Nash ran over.

Hakimi Nash was a good brother of Ethen Cole's and a student in Class 6 of their senior year.

Though he came from a humble background, he had a strong sense of justice and immediately stood up for Ethen Cole.

"Aniqi Lex, if it weren't for you, would Ethen Cole have been expelled? Don't go too far!"

Hakimi Nash was very worried about his friend's expulsion.

He had told his father, who worked at the education bureau, about the situation yesterday, asking him to plead for Ethen Cole.

However, Hakimi Nash's father was just an ordinary staff member in the education bureau, and his words held little weight; Hilltop Middle School completely ignored their plead.

Seeing Hakimi Nash stand up, Aniqi Lex smirked maliciously.

"Hakimi Nash, get the hell away from me! No matter what, Ethen Cole has already been expelled. Once expelled, he is no longer a student of our school. What right does he have to stand on the playground?"

"Yeah, what right does he have to stay at school?"

"Why don't you go back to your slum? You disgraceful loser…"

A group of sycophants shouted loudly.

This scene completely ignited Ethen Cole's anger.

"What right? Hmph! Today, I'm going to let you know who really doesn't have the right to be here! Who's the disgrace!"

Ethen Cole immediately strode forward, ready to clash with Aniqi Lex and his gang.

"Brothers, let's go! Beat them up hard! If anything happens, I'll take the blame!"

Aniqi Lex seemed a bit afraid of Ethen Cole, especially since he had just been beaten not long ago.

He waved his hand, signaling his lackeys to charge forward.

Although these lackeys weren't very strong individually, there were a lot of them.

With all eyes on them, they grew even bolder, a group of people swinging their fists and charging at Ethen Cole.

Seeing this, Hakimi Nash panicked.

He quickly ran towards the school building to notify a teacher.

But he hadn't run far before he heard a chorus of screams erupt from the scene.

Hakimi Nash hurriedly turned back to look.

He saw a small Riolux, which Ethen Cole had been holding, suddenly leap out.

This Blue Riolux appeared harmless, but when it got angry, it was incredibly terrifying.

It moved like a whirlwind, darting around the area at high speed.
