The Potion. Ophelia's Pov

"I want to see my granddaughter now!" Mr Gilmore yelled.

Changing my dress in my room, and my mind couldn't stop going over the act with Mr Gilmore. I scoffed as I released my hair from a bun.

I remembered making consequent inhale and exhale, troubled sighs and creased brow.

Flash black

"Then I shall fetch her for you sire, just give me some minutes." I walked away and sent for Mr Gilmore's care nurse, Grin Hilda.

While I sat on the soft fluffy one arm seat couch in the living room, one of the maids massaged my back. It ached from the troubles I had been going through since Lila went missing.

"Ma'am?" She was in front of me now, hands clutched to each other. politely.

 "How's Mr Gilmore doing?"

 "He's doing alright ma'am."

Irritated, I tutted and shifted uneasily. My hand is folded across my chest now.

"Give me details and stop giving me a summary!" My voice blew sharp.

"So sorry ma'am. He's quite improving, remembers things better, can move his limbs too," she replied, "we played chess last night too, he was quite good at it."

She made such a smile that disgusted me and I thought of firing her but I couldn't, at least not now.

Mr Gilmore shouldn't die now. In fact I wanted him to recover because he held the ultimate key to completing my mission.

"He's still waiting for his silly granddaughter. That goofy Lila!" I cursed and beckoned on one of the maids.

 "Yes, head maid Ophelia."

"Fetch Morrey." I said and waved her off. She took a bow and took off.

"I want you to do as I say from now on. If not, I'll throw you back to the slum I picked you from before!" I said.

I told the maid working my back to leave. After she left, I stood and walked over to Grin Hilda and whispered in her ears.

She gasped in fear. Her eyes widened as she stared at me.

"Do it or you go back to your miserable life." I said as a matter of fact.

"Head maid Ophelia. I can't do this, I…I…can't, I'm scared."

"Okay," I moved away from her, "then you're fired."

She quickly knelt before me and pleaded.

 I wasn't bulging. "Well…" I shrugged.

 There was silence, she seemed to be thinking about it, after a while, she nodded and said;

"Okay ma'am, I will do it. Whatever you ask me to do."

My lips broke into a sly smile. I held her by the shoulder up and peered into her eyes.

"You made the right choice, Grin Hilda. I'll give you the potion, anytime he asks of his granddaughter, you'll give him his favorite drink laced with the potion."

 "Yes ma'am."

"One more thing, if I hear a word of this from anyone, I might as well end your life!" I announced.

"My lips are sealed." She replied then exit.

 Morrey came into view.

 "You sent for me ma'am."

"Lila is nowhere to be found and I'm quite worried. Honestly I have no idea where she would be. Send some guards to go look for her and they must never come back until they've brought Lila with them."

"I'll like to go in search of her myself. I'll bring with me two more guards."

"You would? That's so kind of you…actually foolish! I wouldn't risk my life and comfort for someone." I scratched.

"I will go Ophelia. You don't have to worry about anything."

"Then who will guard the mansion? Who will replace you when you're gone?"

"You can easily pick someone from the guards. I don't care how you do." He said arrogantly.

Now

I was standing in front of the mirror naked now. Mason came into my mind immediately while I toured my body.

I smiled. He was such an agile man in bed and I enjoyed every bit of our time making out. I didn't blame Lila for rejecting the president Leo's advances. Of course because there was better honey in her bag.

I would continue using Mason for my pleasure, would keep him by my side and oh…maybe I should make him one of the guards. No! The head guard. That would save the trouble sneaking in and out or me going out to meet him.

I glanced at the time, the morons were still lying miserably sleeping under the duress of the same potion I served Mr Gilmore.

They snored pathetically like a labourer, I couldn't be more disgusted.

I barely escaped grandfather's Gilmore's incessant request of his preposterous granddaughter, now President Leo and his hand man were here looking for her.

What was so special about that Lila! I hated her pictures that were hung on the wall and everyday I wished I could tear everything off.

I wouldn't be blamed for disliking her, I blamed her father whose so called adventurous act led my father to his own death. I needed to pay him back, even in the grave. I hoped his spirit would never rest in peace!

Gentle knocks on the door and Grin Hilda peeped in.

 "They're awake ma'am."

"Really, that was a short time. I'll be there soon."

After the maid left, I quickly changed my dress while thinking of what lies to feed the men with.

Since they just awoken, their brain would be so much damp and blurry. Confusion would reign for a while and their motor skills would be a little dull.

I finished and moved out of my room.

"Hiii, president Leo. I see you're awake."

I knew his head would hurt because I smacked it hard while he drifted into sleep, then I kissed him too.

"Aw. My head hurts. What happened?"

"Sire. When did we fall asleep?" Mario asked bizzairely.

"How do you expect me to know?"

"I think you had enough wine with Mr Gilmore and passed out."

"What? Mr Gilmore came already?" He questioned.

"Yes sire and he's asleep again. You both drank a lot, then fell asleep."

"Argh. How could we be so reckless."

"It's getting dark sire. You should be on your way." I suggested hoping they drag their sorry ass out of the mansion.

"Okay. Tell Mr Gilmore I'm so sorry for my act, we'll visit properly next time and I hope Lila will be around by then."

I smirked inaudibly. That's not going to happen.

They staggered to the entrance and managed to get to their car. A farewell wave and his hand man started the car and screeched off.

While I stayed at the balcony and watched them leave, I si

ghted Mason trying to climb the sycamore tree beside Lila's window and I made a quirky chuckle.

 Another pleasure time!
