36. Hating Ondine. Lila Pov

Being the group leader was nothing as intriguing as it was burdensome. I had them asking me questions and clarity, sometimes on something I knew little about. The mystical pearl? I had them believed it was a round shinning object, found naturally in oysters from the sea.

The Mystical pearl powers? It had the capability of healing the soul, because just the sight of it would have you reeling in admiration.

I'd alot of it in a small box in my chambers, I explained. Though unnatural, it still adorned my body, my dress, my hair, different colours of them. All reveling.

But what I didn't understand was how the pearl had physical healing powers. When I was young, I'd tried breaking the pearl with a hammer, it clanked on it with a bang but didn't compress.

"How long before we could get to the open." I asked faintly as we journeyed through the bushes. We were much nomads, and wanderers, forest guardians were understatement.
