Kabutops, sensing the psychic light around them, increased his speed, enraged by the loss of his prized stone.

One of his sickles, charged with red energy, swung toward Aoki.

It was a Cleave attack!

As the attack rushed toward him, Aoki's mind cleared, his focus sharp.

Watching the sickle's arc, Aoki realized the attack wasn't as fast as he expected.

Haunter, having prepared in advance, appeared in front of Aoki and blocked the attack with the green energy shield from Protect.

Although the Kabutops leader was surprised that his attack had been blocked, his battle instinct kicked in, and he swung the other sickle toward Aoki.

However, his second attack was also thwarted, as Slowking used another Protect shield.
