chapter 8

As Lika thought she had finally escaped, Derek appeared out of nowhere, his eyes blazing with fury. He grabbed her, holding her in a tight grip.

"You think you can escape me?" he snarled. "You think you can defeat me?"

Lika struggled, but Derek was too strong. He dragged her back to the cave, and then, to her surprise, he opened a portal to the underworld.

As they stepped through the portal, Lika felt a chill run down her spine. She had heard stories of the underworld, of the torments and horrors that lay within.

Derek dragged her through the winding tunnels of the underworld, finally stopping at a large, ornate door. He pushed the door open, revealing a luxurious room filled with soft couches and velvet drapes.

"Welcome to your new home," Derek said, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You'll be staying here for a while."

Lika's eyes widened as she took in the room. It was opulent, but it was also a prison.

Derek snapped his fingers, and a group of female demon servants appeared. They were tall and statuesque, with skin like polished marble and hair like flowing gold.

"Take care of our guest," Derek said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Make sure she doesn't leave this room."

The demon servants nodded, their eyes gleaming with malevolence. Lika knew she was in trouble.

As Derek turned to leave, Lika called out to him. "You'll never get away with this," she said. "I'll escape, and I'll make sure you pay for what you've done."

Derek turned back to her, a smile spreading across his face. "I'm shaking in my boots," he said. "But don't worry, I'll make sure you're well taken care of. My demons will see to it that you're comfortable and happy."

Lika's eyes narrowed. She knew that Derek's demons were not to be trusted. They could change their appearances to look like humans, making them almost impossible to detect.

As the demon servants closed in around her, Lika knew she had to be careful. She had to find a way to escape, and she had to do it before Derek's demons could stop her.

But for now, she was trapped, at the mercy of Derek and his minions. Lika steeled herself, preparing for the battle ahead. She would not go down without a fight.

Derek smiled to himself as he left Lika in the care of his demon servants. He had finally captured her, and now he could focus on his plans for world domination.

The demon servants, disguised as beautiful women, smiled and curtsied as Derek departed. They were loyal only to him, and they would stop at nothing to ensure Lika remained captive.

As Derek walked through the winding tunnels of the underworld, he felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had come a long way since his humble beginnings as a human, and now he was on the brink of achieving his ultimate goal.

But Derek knew that his journey was far from over. He still had to deal with the supernatural creatures and gods who opposed him, and he knew that they would stop at nothing to defeat him.

Derek's eyes gleamed with determination as he made his way to his throne room. He would not be defeated. He would rise to power, no matter the cost.

And with Lika by his side, he knew that nothing could stop him.
