Silas's POV
(Silas) "I already had breakfast, Nekol."
I was standing in the corner, looking around while waiting for Nekol's answer.
(Nekol) "Wait… don't tell me you went to the cafeteria alone."
(Silas) "Yes, you're right."
I only heard a beep before the call disconnected. I didn't know if it got cut off by mistake or if Nekol hung up on me. I sighed, put my phone back in my pocket, and started walking. I took the elevator, but somehow, I pressed the wrong button, and now the elevator had stopped on Damon's office floor.
I tried pressing the button for the first floor, but it wasn't working, and the elevator doors weren't closing either. Just then, Damon walked out of his office. His eyes landed on me as he stepped out. I glanced around, trying to avoid his gaze. He stepped into the elevator, and right then, the doors closed.
"Were you waiting for me?" His eyes were on me as he teased.
