Silas's POV
"Because of you? Then can you tell me the reason?"
"Of course! That shop owner doesn't know how to bake cakes. So, I taught him how to bake, and now he has lost all his customers."
Wow. His lying is funny, but not enough to make me laugh. Still, he has a talent for bullshitting.
"And you know, there was no road here five years ago."
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah! Then, I started walking from here, and now they've become fortunate enough to build a road and open many shops."
"Enough with your jokes. Just tell me—how is Orian now?"
As I asked, he turned his face towards me, though I pretended to keep looking ahead.
"Wait a moment… how do you know Orian?"
"I met him once, that's why. Now just answer my question."
"I don't know… but I'm sure he'll be fine."
I grabbed his hand to stop him. "What do you mean you don't know anything?"
