Misunderstanding - 18

Silas's POV

I took steps toward Orian and stood in front of him, but his whole attention was on Theron. As soon as he saw me there, he let go of Meyer's hand and stood in front of me.

"Silas?"

Orian's tone was annoyed. Yes, it's normal to be annoyed and shocked after seeing me—and that too, here.

"Orian, there's something I want to talk to you about. Can we talk alone?" I asked.

Judging by Orian's reaction earlier, I thought he would say no because I had come with Theron. So why would he want to talk with me?

But Orian nodded. My eyes widened at his response. It was totally unexpected.

"Babe, we'll leave you two alone, okay?"

Saying this, Meyer walked toward Theron.

"Hey, let's go. Let them talk."

I glanced back at Theron, and he smiled at me before leaving with Meyer. After they both left, Orian asked me to sit on the sofa. As I sat down, he also sat beside me.
