Chapter 23. The Horizon.

Sir Kael, Ignis and his friends were now going to enter the portal to The Horizon.

But before Ignis could enter, Syrentha called him, "Wait! "

Ignis looked behind and there was it, Devilox.

Syrentha said, "Don't forgot your companion dragon, Ignis. "

6 Months Ago

During his training he heard from Syrentha that his egg has hatched.

He went to see it and there was it, the black dragon, Hei Long.

He named it "Devilox".

When he came close to the dragon, the dragon embraced him and Syrentha.

It was like, Ignis was the father and Syrentha was the mother.

Present Time.

Ignis said, " He's still a child, i don't think it's safe to let him come with me. "

Syrentha said to Devilox, "Why don't you show him? "

Devilox's size increased and it was now even bigger than Ignis but not fully matured.

Ignis then allowed him to come with him and Devilox reduce his size and ride on Ignis's left shoulder.

Meanwhile in Nethralis, Nether Spire,

Asmodeus was waiting for a message from commander Ashkaris.

Suddenly, a screen opened infront of him and there was Ashkaris and he said, "I have recruited him as you commander sir Asmodeus. Now, what should i do? "

Behind Ashkaris was a figure hated by both Ignis and Ashkaris but Ashkaris can't refuse the direct order of Asmodeus.

Supreme commander Asmodeus ordered him, "Go to The Horizon and recruit their king, Mecha. "

Sir Kael, Ignis and his friends now arrived on The Horizon and the whole planet was made up of different kinds of metals.

They had never saw something like this.

Sir Kael said, "Watch your step. There are traps in the land. If possible, use your wings to fly. "

Devilox grow into size and let Ignis and Alina ride on him whereas, sir Kael changed into his dragon form, Indraksha and rest used their wings to fly.

From the sky, the view of The Horizon was very different.

Even the plans, rivers, lake and oceans were made up different kind of metals.

In the air, there was various non-metals.

It was the night time in The Horizon so they had to set up a camp inside the forest of The Horizon and sir Kael instructed them, "We are here to conqueror the planet so i will request you youngester to not do anything which can reduce your stamina even for a second. "

They all understood about what sir Kael was saying and slept.

In the middle of the night they heard some foot steps coming towards them.

Ignis woke up first and went outside the camp to check.

What he saw was a group of robotic bears coming towards them but they all head a ball of magma on their head for some reason.

He woke up everyone.

Sir Kael told them to not let their guard down and suddenly, a bear jumped on Fiora but was destroyed by Indraksha.

Ignis charged towards those bears and used inferno.

Most of them melt but only 1 was standing.

It was bigger than the rest and looked like their leader.

Suddenly, the bear consumed the magma ball and grow more in size and it's whole body turned into that of magma.

Everything around it in 7m radius started to melt.

The bear jumped on Ignis but he easily dodged it.

The bear's defence and attack increased but it's speed was same.

Ignis summoned a dagger through his flame element and jumped on the bear.

The bear was easily able to block every attack of Ignis but suddenly, Ignis punched it and the bear felt pain and then, Ignis cut it's head off.

To cut a magma is impossible but Ignis is a fire elemental, so it is possible for him.

Sir Kael said, "These were the metal bears. Here, animals are made up of metals, so be careful because they have high attack and defence but their speed is not much. "

They all went back to sleep again.

The Next Morning

They all went towards the capital city of The Horizon, Technisia.

They all were going through the forest route and suddenly, a centipede made of metal, even bigger than the Devilox came out of the ground but was cut into pieces in a millisecond by sir Kael.

They all knew that sir Kael was very strong but never expected that.

Their plan was to secretly infiltrate the king's palace and assassinate the king and that's why all the royal dragons were kept on the portal.

Incase if any emergency come so they can come to the palace quickly.

Sir Kael, Ignis and his friends stop flying because they didn't wanted to get caught by anyone.

Ignis heard a vibration and told everyone to hide.

After few seconds, two robots came from the route they all were walking on. They had different kinds of weapons build on their body but they didn't looked like guards.

The both were talking about something but Ignis and his friends couldn't understand.

Sir Kael said, "This is the language of these robots and it is very difficult for us to understand but sir Kael was able to understand it. "

After the robots were gone, they all came out of hiding and sir Kael told them what they were talking about, "Those robots were talking about the meeting of the king of this planet, Mecha, with beings of some other planet. It looks like, someone already came here before us. "

He continued, "If it's about any type of alliance than it's gonna be pretty hard for us to assasinate the king. "

They all walked towards the capital city.

Here, Ashkaris and his companion was inside the royal palace of The Horizon.

They both had already fixed a meeting with the King.

The soldiers asked Ashkaris's companion to remove the cloak he was wearing but Ashkaris refused and said he had the permission.

The soldiers let him go and they went inside the throne room.

Inside the throne room, the king was not present there but his son was.

Ashkaris asked to his son, "Where's your father? "

His son said, "State your buisness, devil. "

Ashkaris was surprised to the tone of the child but he still maintain a gentle tone, "You know, it's a buisness which only adults can talk about. I'd like to meet with your father, child. "

His son said, "If you said 'child' again to me, you will lose your head, understand!? "

Ashkaris said, "Yes and i apologize. "

His son said, "My name is Micro and i am the prince of this whole planet. If you have any buisness with my father, you have to state it to me. "

Ashkaris showed him the direct order of surpeme commander Asmodeus and Micro teared the page and said, "Asmodeus is not above me. His orders don't work on me. If you are not going to state your buisness then it would be better if you leave the royal palace at once. "

Ashkaris had no choice but to tell Micro about his buisness.

King Mecha was amazed and accepted Ashkaris proposal which he proposed.

Now, Ignis and his friends were near the capital city and could see the flag of The Horizon on the top of the royal palace situated in the capital city, Technicia.

Sir Kael provided them with a capsule and told them to eat it.

They all eat it and suddenly, their body was covered with the combinations of different kinds of metals.

They all now looked like the robots of The Horizon.

Sir Kael said, "The capsules you all just ate was made by the technology department of the Dragoon. This capsules let you disguise yourself as a robot of The Horizon. "

He told them, "We can't enter the royal palace without information. We have no choice but to spend some days or weeks in Technicia as a trader and merchant to collect information. "

He continued, "We also don't have the information about the internal structure of royal palace and to enter the royal palace we need a royal order and it is only given to some trusted traders and merchant. So, if we find anyone with a royal order, we have to hunt them down whether they are innocent or guilty and that is the meaning of a war. "

What is a war? Everyone have different opinions regarding this. Some say, a war is a battle to protect something. Some believes, a war is a battle to gain something. But, during a war, we hunt down several innocent people who don't even know what is going on. We shed blood of our enemies even thought we don't know why they are our enemy.

We decided ourself who is our enemy and who is not, based on our motherland.

The war is something which Ignis has to experience all through his life.
