Originally, I didn't want to go, but when he asked about my major, I decided to meet him again.
He introduced himself as Lorne and handed me a business card: "I heard you majored in fashion design. Would you be interested in coming to work at my company?"
I would need to support my child on my own in the future, so finding a job was an urgent matter.
However, I still refused him outright. I didn't want to do anything that could be seen as improper.
"Could you introduce me to a company out of town?"
He agreed and then apologized to me: "I'm sorry for calling you out of the blue that day. I hope I didn't upset you, especially since your child is still young."
I told him I was very grateful to him. If it weren't for the evidence he provided, I might not have been able to get divorced as I wished and obtain my rightful share of the assets.
