The Enchanted Escape

The girl, whose name was Lyra, led Cedric to a hidden garden deep within the castle grounds, one he had never seen before. Flowers glowed softly in the moonlight, and the air hummed with an unfamiliar energy.

"I am not of this world," Lyra said, her voice soft as she knelt by a glowing tree. "I come from the Fae realm, and I can offer you a way out. A life free from the pressures of court. But there is a price."

Cedric's eyes widened. "A price? What price?"

Lyra's gaze was steady. "The path you wish to walk will not be easy. The Fae world is full of wonders, but also dangers. You will lose your noble title, your wealth, your name—but you will gain freedom. A new life, where your choices belong only to you."

Cedric's mind swirled with possibilities. Freedom. A life without the ever-present weight of expectations.

"How do I begin?" he asked, the excitement in his chest growing.

"Drink from the fountain," Lyra said, pointing to a small, crystal-clear spring at the base of the glowing tree. "The water will bind your fate with mine."

Cedric hesitated, then, without another thought, he cupped his hands and drank from the sparkling water.

As the cool liquid slid down his throat, a shiver ran down his spine. The world around him seemed to blur, and for a moment, he felt weightless. The air hummed with power, and the moonlight seemed brighter, more vivid.

When his vision cleared, he found himself standing not in the garden of Ashlorn Castle, but in a dense, lush forest. The air smelled of pine and wildflowers, and a soft breeze caressed his face. Above him, the stars shone like a thousand diamonds.

"Welcome to the Fae realm," Lyra said, her smile both comforting and mysterious. "Now, your journey truly begins."
