66. Bribing

"I need to make a phone call." I told the guard.

"Not now." He grumbled back.

I conjured up a one hundred dollar and showed it to him through the bars.

"You sure?" I asked. They can't keep me away from my attorney and other people, I am pretty sure of that.

He motioned for me to give him the money through the prison bars, but I shook my hand.

"First the phone call. I need to make two."

It was early morning, and we hadn't even gone eating breakfast. I bribed the guard patrolling the cell floors.

The money would disappear after two minutes, but then I have done my calls. The baldies were still after me, so I had enough enemies already, one more didn't matter. Though, a guard as an enemy was really a bad idea. But I had to make these calls.

He brought me to the phones, which were old ones attached to the wall. They needed coins to be used, but those I could conjure up with no problems.
