I told her everything; now she was part of it as well; additionally, she was to be the first person we knew of that had killed her counterpart.

"Does that mean if we kill ourselves, we'll get more powerful?" I looked at her as she was pensively looking at her hand, which she still had not really under control.

"Is that a good revelation? If the world knew, wouldn't people go into these worlds to search for their counterpart to kill them? I don't have a good feeling about this." Because she couldn't talk yet, my talkative side showed, and I wanted to consult her. The secrets of these parallel worlds were not something I was able to handle alone.

My grandma pressed her lips together, seemingly having the same opinion.

"What should we do with you? If we get out and they see you, won't they lock you up somewhere to cut you open?" 

She didn't indicate an answer.

"Should we tell them that we don't know?"
