119. Up

Henry was still looking as shitty as he had two weeks ago, the last time I had seen him.

"Hey." I again tried to wake him up by patting his cheek, but it didn't work.

Henrietta, meanwhile, had turned to lie on her back, crying silently and looking at her hands.

Oh yeah, she shouldn't have experienced this kind of physical pain before. Until now, it had been her that killed and injured people without a second thought.

I turned back to the portal and could feel that it was closed; at least this crappy task was finished.

Henry needed to get back to the cave, but there was no way I could carry him while climbing the hill the cave was on.

I needed help.

I went to Henrietta and grabbed her hair, dragging her to the base of the hill. She cried louder, but if that was going to lure my help out, I had no problem with it.
