123. Catching up

"Henry?" I stopped sprinting and walked to his side.

As if unable to hear me, he continued to munch on the eyeball before twirling the brain matter string around his wrist like a bracelet. I had the bad premonition that he would eat that as well if not stopped.

I mean, yeah, it probably would make him stronger, but besides it being disgusting as hell, and eating things raw isn't good, do we really want to empower a body that is possessed by a shadow?

Likewise, I stood before him and waved my hand before his eyes; again, no reaction. Snapping fingers didn't help as well.

"Let that go." When I heard the nauseating sound of him taking another bite, I had it with him.

Grabbing his arm, I took the rest of the eye and bracelet away from him and threw that stuff on the ground while he stood there in a daze, letting me do whatever. At least he didn't turn aggressive again.

"We are going back; come on."
