Henry's POV

I sat at Kenny's door and waited for him to wake up.

This corridor, filled with endless doors and everything upside down, was a surreal picture. Especially the anchor for the chandelier that was deeply embedded in what we now use as a floor. The broken chandelier itself had long been discarded by the others. It was good that they did the minimum to justify being fed and given water for free.

A door opened, and Athena stepped out; upon seeing me, she sat beside me in silence.

"Go away." I said quietly.

"Isn't it more believable if I hover around you?" She asked just as softly.

"No. Go away. I remember my promise; don't worry."

"What happened yesterday? The screams…"

Annoyed, I wished for Kenny to get me a cigarette. I had long stopped smoking, but he had hooked me again.

"Does it matter?"

Athena pressed her lips together, and I leaned my head back.
