To have the ability to see into people's past has no real appeal for the teenager this story is about, letting him only use it as amusement and to show off when he was drunk.

But everything changed the moment he was forced to look into the future, was forced to investigate the circumstances of a murder, and was forced to make the acquaintance of the victim's twin brother('s fists).  

The more time passed, the more it appeared that the primary reason for this murder wasn't a local, but a global one. 

This single, marred corpse was the beginning of a threat that would shake the world.

Flip the Coin [BL]

This was the second time I had sought out Kenny's grandma while he was inside a prison. The first time had been in our world when I left the hospital after our return from the first world. Back then, I got slapped across the face by her, and whoever thought that an old woman had no strength would be terribly wrong.

Still, I did deserve it, and she even arranged for me to visit Kenny as soon as he left the hospital ward in the prison.

I didn't think I'd get slapped again this time, but just to make sure that orange-haired woman wouldn't get suspicious if I took violence from my 'savior,' I asked her to leave for a moment. Though bewildered, she left us alone.

"I have left my grandson by your side, thinking you would take care of him. Now I couldn't see him for a week, and instead, you came." Mrs. Howard seethed visibly.

I leaned against the closed door.
