Epic battle(2)

Meanwhile in the mortal realm,the battle between the two kingdoms was already over. Although it only seemed as if only a day had passed in the other realms in the mortal realm about a year had already passed. This was the time difference between the mortal realm and the other realms. At this moment Tai Jian was already in the capital. The battle between the two states had ended without a winner.

6 months ago...

On the second day of the battle between the two states,the two sides fought a decisive battle and even the commanders of the respective armies,Tai Jian and Tie Hongchen fought. Each of the armies took on ancient formations as they fought. The Qin state armies merged their auras and under Tai Jian's lead they formed an apparition of a dragon which was believed to be the sacred creature and founder of the Qin state. The heaven battling state also merged their auras and managed to form the apparition of the heaven battling ape. In the hands of the two commanders the strength of the two armies was fully exhibited to the maximum. It was no longer a fight between the two armies but a fight between the two divine beasts. Both sides were equally matched even after unleashing the full strength of their formations so the battle went on for two days and two nights before both sides were exhausted and each army was on its last leg. There were no longer any tricks left. This was the first time Tai Jian and Tie Hongchen felt their blood boiling from excitement. It is indeed lonely at the top and with the title of war gods no one would love to fight with them but now it was different as they used their full prowess in the battle. This was a battle between elites and each side was equal. At the crucial moment,two envoys,each from the two states appeared on the battlefield. The envoys were shocked by the sight of the battlefield. The battle was full of littered bodies and injured soldiers but the war was still ongoing. Even the injured soldiers were still holding their swords and spears and fighting courageously. No one was willing to let down their commanders and each side was fighting to protect their homeland. The two envoys saw the situation and felt like throwing up. This was no longer a battlefield rather it looked more like a slaughter house. Most of the soldiers barely had their complete body parts but even though the soldiers alive saw this they still fought crazily putting their lives on the line. At this moment Tai Jian and Tie Hongchen both respectively held their hands up." Retreat," the duo ordered at the same time but they remained behind to cover the retreat of their soldiers." You are indeed a worthy opponent. I am satisfied," Tai Jian said with a rare smile on his face as he stared at Tie Hongchen. The condition of the two commanders could be describes as terrifying. They were both severely injured and Tai Jian had to admit that this was the first time in many years that someone had wounded him to such an extent. At this moment he couldn't even lift his hand properly and was barely holding his sword in his hand by sheer willpower. His armour could now barely be classified as an armour as it was almost torn in half. His clothes were torn and tattered and his muscular chest was exposed. He has a wound on his chest which was left behind by a sword slash. The wound on his chest was almost claiming his life but this was not the most terrifying one rather a wound on his stomach that was still bleeding. It seemed as if the princess wanted to cut him in half. The princess was not in a better shape either as her left hand was severely wounded. She also had a wound on the left side of her ribs which was left by a sword stab. There was also a wound on her shoulder that extended all the way to her neck. It could be seen that Tai Jian had been ruthless in his attacks and did not care about the fact that she was a lady. It was amazing that despite having undergone such a malicious battle where they wanted to claim each other's neck the duo were now conversing as if they were the best of friends." Same here but I am still puzzled," the princess said with a thoughtful expression on her face." Are you really a man? How can you be so ruthless to a lady?" Tie Hongchen asked causing Tai Jian's expression to flicker." What do you mean? Atleast I showed mercy by not targeting your face," Tai Jian replied." What do you mean by showing mercy? I can't even stand properly at this moment. It seems you wanted to make me bedridden. How will I be able to show my face outside? You were almost destroying my beautiful face yet here you are speaking about showing mercy. So shameless. You are one of a kind. You are the only man who doesn't care about a flower," Tie Hongchen said with a wronged expression at the beginning but at the end of her sentence she used a mocking tone." What do you mean by a flower? I can only see a sword. If you were a flower then I guess you would only be a rose. Hopefully I hope we will meet again on the battlefield," Tai Jian said but he did not make an attempt to leave." It seems you are even good at flirting but I am not interested in a man like you. Cold faced and ruthless like a ten thousand year old piece of ice. I hope we never meet again," Tie Hongchen said but she also made no attempt to leave." Why aren't you leaving then?" Tie Hongchen asked." Ladies first," Tai Jian said. "Since when did you learn how to behave like a gentleman or are you planning something?" Tie Hongchen asked.' How can I be planning something when I can't even move. It is already good enough that I am standing ,' Tai Jian said inwardly ." Just leave already. I am still planning to take a look at the sky," Tai Jian randomly came up with an excuse.' If I could leave do you think I would've stayed in such a place,' Tie Hongchen said inwardly but she did not dare to say it out loud. The two remained silent and did not speak. The two envoys were still watching the situation and did not dare to get close to the dip because of the sword intent that was covering the place where they were standing. Although the duo were no longer fighting their sword intents had yet to disappear and were still battling against each other. After a while the two realised that they were in the same situation because none of them could move." Don't tell me that you cannot move?: Tie Hongchen cautiously asked. Tai Jian had the urge to roll his eyes but he tried to maintain his poker face and did not reply to her. Their bodies soon gave way as their swords fell down at the same time. Before they knew it they fell down unconscious at the same time. After a while the two envoys finally moved closer and found the duo no lying far from each other. Upon seeing their conditions they were shocked.
