She suddenly did not know how she should treat Tai Jian. Her expression softened considerably when she stared at Tai Jian. The hatred and the anger in her heart diminished as if it never existed. She had to agree that she had never treated Tai Jian well even after they got married. The energy could be neutralised completely by merging of the yin and yang and the other way was by using yin energy to suppress the energy. When yin and yang unite they form a natural state of balance. The introduction to the yin yang technique spoke of the balance which would be realised overtime but the duo did not understand of the balance. In order for the world to be balanced there has to be rules governing it. The rules were meant to control both good and bad. If yin represents evil then yang represents good. Both coexist naturally. They suppress each other but at the same time they compliment each other. There could be no evil without good and there could be no good without evil and this leads to a state of an unnatural balance that both sides cannot break due to some principles. Tai Jian's martial arts skills would hinder Tie Hongchen because they were cultivating the same technique which was why Tai Jian's cultivation could not rise to more than five levels above Tie Hongchen. The same way Tie Hongchen was also limited by Tai Jian. This was the reason why even though Tie Hongchen and Tai Jian were not cultivating together Tie Hongchen's cultivation still rose everyday because of Tai Jian neutralising the yin energy for her at night. Due to cultivating the yin yang technique they had developed high affinities for yin and yang energy hence they would subconsciously absorb the energy even when asleep. Moreover yin energy was dense at night than during the day hence Tai Jian had to neutralise the energy in the middle of the night when the yin energy was very dense. If the duo were to decide to deal cultivate at thus moment their cultivation would rise but they were both too stubborn to realise this. Besides they did not consider that the yin yang technique was incomplete and that it was actually a dual cultivation art so they had no choice as sooner or later their desire for each other would flare up and they would be unable to control their pleasures anymore."
