Decisive battle 1

Tai Jian had successfully managed to kill the shadow messengers that were sent to intercept him yet he felt no joy rather he became more worried. He knew that that was only the first blockade and many others were already prepared and waiting for him. Di Yi has always been a meticulous person and he was very cunning and aggressive. He had the strength and was proclaimed as the strongest in the whole world but his shrewd character and cunningness were deeply engraved in his bones so he never liked playing by the rules. Tai Jian had already learnt of this which was why he laid low and accumulated his strength until he was now confident of dealing with Di Yi but he still felt uneasy. It felt as if he was missing something important and there was still something that was hidden but he didn't know what it was so he could only keep calm and forge ahead but he had no hopes of saving Tie Hongchen. Inwardly,he knew that Di Yi was playing with him and was probably waiting for him to arrive so that he would give him a fatal blow. If Tie Hongchen were to die before Tai Jian then his state of mind would be in chaos which would lower his chances of winning. Even though Tai Jiqn knew this he could only take his chances after all Tie Hongchen was his woman so he had to save her. If he did not try then it would form a demon in his heart and he would never progress with his cultivation but if Tie Hongchen were to die before Tai Jian then it meant that Tai Jian would lose his will and that would probably be worse than him having a heart demon. At such a moment Tai Jian was completely relaxed and very calm. He was already prepared for the worst so he was only swimming with the tides but he was sure that if the tides were to high for him then he would break out forcefully and face it head on because only then could he have the chance to change fate and to overcome this looming disaster. Three days passed by in the blink of an eye and Tai Jian was now close to his destination. After facing several assassinations along the way Tai Jian was now a bit exhausted and no longer at his peak. The shadows had successfully managed to delay him. Meanwhile the situation on Tie Hongchen's side had now taken a three hundred and sixty degree turn as Tie Hongchen and her troupes were now barely hanging on. After successfully capturing the golden emissary Tie Hongchen was delighted but something happened. The clone had successfully managed to devour the main body of the golden emissary but who would've thought that Di Yi had long set up a trap for both of them. Di Yi had planted a demonic seed in the clone of the golden emissary so when the clone managed to successfully devour the body the seed absorbed the remnant energy of the main body and sprouted. After the seed sprouted the golden emissary once again fell in a trap set by Di Yi. This allowed the golden emissary to be controlled by Di Yi once again. This result was unexpected . Tie Hongchen finally realised that she had greatly underestimated Di Yi. Thankfully she had her guard up and was able to escape from a fatal blow but she still ended up with a few injuries which greatly reduced her combat abilities. With her combat abilities reduced Tie Hongchen was now forced to fight a desperate battle. She commanded her army and made sure that the army was united at such a time. She no longer hesitated and launched a decisive battle. Using a secret technique she managed to heal herself. After using the technique Tie Hongchen strength was raised to its peak and even showed signs of surpassing her limits but such techniques came at a great cost and Tie Hongchen could only use the strength that she acquired for at most three days after which she will die. From the moment she cast the technique the power that she obtained started devouring her and it was thanks to her strong cultivation that she could manage to maintain her current level for three days. She had already felt Tai Jian's presence and knew that he was about to arrive so she had to do her best to hold on for atleast three days which was why she decisively used such a forbidden technique. Even Tai Jian did not know about the existence of the forbidden technique as it was only taught to Tie Hongchen. She found the technique when looking into her mother's belongings. The technique required signing a contract with an asura from hell but it came at a price. Once the technique was cast one would become a bloodthirsty demon and the asura would grant her its powers but it would also consume her blood essence and vitality. Tie Hongchen decisively charged into the main base of the shadow guild after giving out instructions to his deputy as she knew that she would soon lose her rationality so she could no longer command the army hence she handed over the command of the army to her deputy while she charged out. After leaving the tent her aura changed and a terrifying killing intent and a bloodthirsty aura was unleashed . She could no longer control herself. Her eyes turned red and her fingernails turned dark and grew long and sharp. Tie Hongchen's change shocked many people and most of the soldiers of the shadow guild fainted just by staring at her. Her hair changed from dark to blood red. She stared at the formation protecting the shadow snorted coldly as she attacked the formation. The formation was extremely sturdy but Tie Hongchen's attack had managed to successfully leave a small crack on the barrier. Seeing a crack on the barrier Tie Hongchen did not continue attacking the barrier rather she started an all out slaughter. The black and white emissaries were shocked by Tie Hongchen's change. They never expected her to launch an attack at such a moment. They had already let their guard down as they knew that Tie Hongchen was severely wounded and thought that she would be busy dealing with her injuries before attacking. No one expected Tie Hongchen to be so ruthless to herself which further terrified the emissaries. At this moment the golden emissary was not in the base as he had been sent to intercept Tai Jian and to also test his strength so both the white and black emissaries had to hold the front by themselves. The crack in the array did not repair itself rather it showed signs of widening. Di Yi who was inside the pagoda clearly saw what had happened and sighed." Another bright star that was meant to shine for a while before dying out. Let's fulfill her wish," Di Yi said with an evil smirk on his face.
