Tie Hongchen's death

The battle between Tie Hongchen and Di Yi has been ongoing for three days now and Tie Hongchen was still suppressed by Di Yi and was barely holding on. Tai Jian, finally arrived after three days. He was tired since he had encountered many assassinations along the way. Tie Hongchen felt his presence and turned to stare at him. Di Yi who was also fighting with Tie Hongchen also halted his assault when he saw Tie Hongchen's expression. He followed her line of sight and happened to see Tai Jian who had just arrived. A cunning glint flashed across his eyes. No one noticed apart from Tai Jian. Tai Jian could no longer remain calm." Retreat!" Tai Jian shouted as he rushed towards Tie Hongchen. Unfortunately he was too late and could only watch Di Yi's halberd stab Tie Hongchen. Tie Hongchen tried to defend herself but she was exhausted and could barely move her hands so she could only watch helplessly but even then a smile was still plastered in her face. The purple emissary happened to see this and hurriedly rush towards Tie Hongchen. On seeing Tie Hongchen's smile Di Yi instantly felt that something was wrong. Tie Hongchen whose life force was fading suddenly burst out with incredible strength and slashed her sword towards Di Yi. That was her last showcase of strength. The sword slash carried all he'd helplessness,willpower and her hatred. She was helpless as she was unable to revenge her family. She used that last sword strike in exchange for her life to show her determination to kill Di Yi. Di Yi was caught off guard by her last strike and the sword almost slashed him into two. At the last moment Tai Jian appeared besides Tie Hongchen and saw her on her last leg. Tai Jian could not find any words to speak. He hurriedly mobilised his mana to try and heal Tie Hongchen. He stared at Di Yi with pure hatred in his eyes but he did not lay his hatred consume him. His felt as if his heart was being stabbed into by a ten thousand needles and the pain was unbearable. Tie Hongchen saw this and extended her hands to caress Tai Jian's handsome face." Hu..s..b..a..nd..,I a..m so..o.rry. Don't....b..be....sad..for...me. Live well," Tie Hongchen said. Tai Jian was further heartbroken when he heard her words. His heart was burning on the inside. He stared at Tie Hongchen gently. Although he knew that she had already given up he was not willing." I will kill you myself," Tai Jian said before he took Tie Hongchen and retreated. He now needed to find a way to treat Tis Hongchen. A few minutes later they arrived at Tie Hongchen's tent. Tai Jian placed her broken body on the body. Tie Hongchen's life force was fading away and Tai Jian knew that he could not go back to the capital. After placing her on the bed Tai Jian cut open his wrist and tried using a forbidden technique to tie them together but it ended in failure. "Sorry," Tie Hongchen said as she finally closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep. One that she would never wake up from. Tai Jian tightly held her body in his arms. His heart was burning in anguish and it was burning his insides so much that it became unbearable to him. He couldn't help but roar like a wild beast. The roar carried all of Tai Jian's emotions and whoever heard it could feel the sorrow, the anger, the hopelessness, the hatred and his undying love for Tie Hongchen. Xue Kai who has just arrived with his troupes heard this roar and instantly recognised Tai Jian's voice. He rushed towards the tent but he found that he couldn't enter the tent. At this moment, Tai Jian was still tightly holding Tie Hongchen's body refusing to let go. He couldn't think straight and his head was muddled. He couldn't understand why. After everything he did he was still late. He knew that he couldn't reverse time which made his heart extremely bitter. His days were fast approaching but that last desperate strike wasn't just Tie Hongchen's message to her but it also severed the ties between them which meant that Tai Jian could no longer die unless he was killed. At this moment a white glow appeared in the tent and an image of Tie Hongchen appeared. She extended her hands and wiped Tai Jian's tears." Why?" Tai Jian asked. Even he didn't know why he asked such a question or what it meant. Maybe he wanted to ask her why he left her or why she fought Di Yi alone or maybe why she made him suffer so much but he couldn't find the courage to ask such a question. Tie Hongchen's image just smiled and did not answer him rather she just wiped her tears and raised his head. She stared at his face for a long time as of trying to memorise his expression at this moment. If it was in the past Tai Jian would've smiled and asked her intimately why she was staring at him in such a manner but at this moment he was completely broken." You knew that the technique was flawed. One of us had to make a choice and I just happened to have fewer years left so I thought that I should take this burden," Tie Hongchen answered. "You promised me that we would be together even in death so why? I was ready to die with you not to bury you," Tai Jian said with tears in his eyes. "I don't want my loved one dying. Tai Jian, forget me and live well," Tie Hongchen said." No. Never. I'll never forget you and I'll never pretend to. Hongchen you love me and have always loved me,right?" Tai Jian asked as he held Tie Hongchen's illusory hands that were caressing his face. All this while she had been smiling and she was still smiling even at this moment. The purple emissary just happened to arrive at the tent and seeing the energy field she tried to barge in but ultimately failed." Tai Jian,you bastard. You don't deserve my sister. You are the cause of her death. Tai Jian, you bastard stop hiding here like a turtle, " the purple robe emissary shouted. Time had stopped for him at that moment when Di Yi's sword stabbed Tie Hongchen's heart. His heart turned cold all of a sudden and for a moment he didn't know if he was human or demon but he was sure of one thing; he desired slaughter. He picked up Tie Hongchen's sword on his left hand and took his sword on his right hand." Di Yi must die," Tai Jian chanted these words as he left the tent at a terrifying speed that could not be seen by the naked eye. After he left the tent he did not remove the energy field. The purple robed emissary only saw a shadow flash by heading towards Di Yi. Xue Kai saw Tai Jian and knew that he could no longer be stopped. Qin Wushuang who had just arrived saw this and sighed." In the end he still lost himself," Qin Wushuang said. Xue Kai ordered the soldiers to join Tai Jian in the assault but Qin Wushuang stopped him." After which Tali Jian knelt on the ground and used the two swords to support himself before roaring towards the sky." I did everything but even then you still couldn't allow her to live.
