Unstoppable

The chess board actually represented the whole battlefield. The game had three rounds and after the rounds were over the duo would likely begin their battle. The duo continued playing and just like that a year soon went by and the situation on the chess board changed and Elliot had a slight edge over Taiyi but Taiyi was not bothered by any of this or so he made it seemed. The change on the chess board meant that there was a change on the battlefield and the myriad diversified world was losing. At this moment in the battlefield, Tie Ling was having difficulties stopping the enemy and she was on the verge of losing but she was not bothered rather she was eerily silent and calm as if nothing could disturb her. Taiyi who had been silent all along was playing with a chess piece on his hand while Elliot was staring at him with a mocking smile." Not giving up yet?" Elliot asked Taiyi while staring at the board. To him he had already won but Taiyi was thinking otherwise. To him this game was not over and just as he thought of it he made an unexpected move and that move reversed the whole situation. The same thing happened in the battlefield. Tie Ling had taken the tactic of pretending to be a sheep to lure her enemy into a trap and her tactic played our perfectly as at the last minute some of her soldiers broke out of the enemy encirclement decisively leaving the enemy in disarray. The enemy soldiers were unable to react to the sudden outburst of the celestial soldiers and this led to severe losses. With that move, Tie Ling wiped our half of the remaining enemy soldiers. Elliot watched this scene unfold with anger in his eyes but he managed to calm himself." You win this round," Elliot calmly said. "The battle is far from being over," Taiyi calmly said. Elliot frowned when he heard this. With Taiyi holding him back he could not participate so he could only watch as Tie Ling wiped out one of his elite troupes and even Lan Yu was beheaded by Tie Ling's sword." Like father like daughter. Taiyi, you raised a good daughter," Elliot calmly said but Taiyi could sense the underlying anger and threat behind Elliot's words. Taiyi kept his cool and did not act on impulse as he knew that no one would benefit but nonetheless he was still happy that his daughter had won the first round thus boosting the morale of the army. Elliot was angry because such failures had serious repercussions that would cause a loss in the morale of the army. Meanwhile Taiyi decided to set up the chessboard and begin a new game but Elliot stopped him." Getting bored already when things are just getting started, " Taiyi said in a cold tone as he stared at Elliot. Elliot released his aura which made the whole room to freeze. Elliot cultivated the dao of samsara so when he released his aura a wheel appeared behind him. The wheel appeared as a sign that his comprehension of the laws of samsara had reached a terrifying level. Taiyi was unfazed by this revelation as a sword appeared behind him. A terrifying sword intent spread throughout the whole room. This was the aura of supremacy of the sword as Taiyi has ascended to godhood with his emotionless sword dao. He did not plan to show off his yin-yang dao as he felt that it was unnecessary. He planned to keep it for later as a surprise gift for his enemies. The sword aura that enveloped the chaotic space was cold and lonely at the same time as if declaring that no one was worthy of being near it or even coming close to it. The sword gave off the feeling that it could cut anything that stood on its path no matter what. It would not hesitate to cut off samsara itself and break apart the wheel of samsara. Elliot saw this and coldly snorted as he moved his reincarnation wheel to attack the sword. The sword hummed before it also stroke back. This was just the beginning because as soon as the duo began their fight the ancestral gods moved to attack but Taiyi who was aware of this or seemed to have expected something as such to take place made his move after deflecting the samsara wheel with his emotionless sword dao. A dome suddenly appeared and all the ancestral gods together with Taiyi and Elliot were separated. They then appeared inside the dome. On one side was Taiyi who stood together with a beautiful female while holding hands while on the other side was Elliot and his army of otherworldly ancestral gods. Taiyi and Feng Jiu stared at the army before them with a mischievous grin in their faces. "Wife, what do you think of such a line-up?" Taiyi asked as he stared at Feng Jiu. Feng Jiu just smiled at Taiyi's words because she knew that Taiyi would definitely not allow her to face Elliot and this was not because he did not trust her but rather because he was afraid. He was afraid that Feng Jiu might lose and if she lost he would be distracted and if he is distracted then it meant that he would definitely lose and if he managed to squeeze out a win then he might have to pay the price." Taiyi, as an emotionless swordsman, you pursue the path of complete detachment so how can you still get involved in the relationships between mortals?" Elliot asked scornfully. To him what Taiyi was doing was seeking his own death. I pursue detachment not from my feelings but from the heavenly dao. I don't want to be a pawn of the dao like other people rather I want to control the dao pursuing the path of ultimate detachment. Why should I pursue the dao only to be it's slave? I'd rather die a mortal than bow my head to the dao. The dao should bow to me ," Taiyi said with pride. The ancestral gods stared at him as if he was a madman. Elliot just stared at him with a mocking smile." You want to challenge the heavenly dao? Are you worthy?" Elliot asked. When Taiyi heard this question his expression changed as he released a terrifying murderous intent which made the ancestral gods feel as if they had been dropped on the deepest parts of hell. The killing intent was overwhelming. Elliot snorted at this before he waved his hands to dismiss the killing intent. After dismissing the killing intent Elliot turned to stare at Taiyi only to find a cold gaze staring at him. If looks could kill then Elliot would've been cut to pieces by Taiyi's gaze." Who do you think I am for the heavenly dao to gauge if I am worthy or not? Do you think that I even place the heavenly dao in my eyes? To me it is just a stepping stone that I have to get rid off along my way. No one will dare to stand in my way no matter who it is. If the demons try then I will slaughter them and if the gods stand in my way I will do the same no matter what even if it is the heavenly dao itself," Taiyi stated.
