I am more beautiful than that sword, right?

The battle in the outer space lasted for ten thousand years and many gods died as a result. Even after careful planning and everything that Taiyi did and sacrificed he still failed to win and failed to protect the heavens. Taiyi and Feng Jiu successfully held back the supreme gods and the ancestral gods but they were outnumbered moreover the heavenly dao decided to interfere at the last moment and suppressed Taiyi's strength forcing him to use his evolved dao which is the yin-yang dao but even then he still lost. At this moment, most of the supreme gods and ancestral gods are dead and Taiyi is in a bad shape. As for Feng Jiu, she is currently on her last leg clinging to Taiyi. Taiyi stared at the ancestral gods before him and for a moment he felt like losing himself and become a demon but he still held it all in as he didn't want Feng Jiu to witness it. He stared at Feng Jiu who was lying in his arms." I have fought the heavens and did everything I could but why is it that heavens is still unfair to me? I have never complained but why is heavens so cruel to me that it can't even allow me to love?" Taiyi asked in a crazed tone as he stared at the heavens with a never seen before madness. He had the fury of cutting the heavens into two. Despite all the bodies that were before him he was still not happy rather he was very angry.

Here is what happened. A few years ago....

Feng Jiu was in the middle of a fight and she had the upper hand. She was fighting valiantly with her sword in hand and at times she attacked using her true form. She even separated herself from her true form so that she could attack and defend . The fight was already at its peak and Feng Jiu was forced to give her all. She had to concentrate during the whole fight but even then there was no hope of winning." This fight might be your last. The evolution is coming to an end in about five hundred years and after that you will have to dissipate and reincarnate," a voice sounded in Feng Jiu's ears which she recognised as that of the phoenix spirit in her body. Feng Jiu is a fire phoenix by nature but due to certain circumstances she was born in a family of phoenix royalty which meant she had the blood of a phoenix empress which repressed her fire bloodline and this was also the main reason why only Taiyi could become her master as only he could suppress the royal bloodline and allow her to integrate with it if not he could just seal it but even then Taiyi couldn't as Febg Jiu inherited the bloodline of four phoenixes which is very rare in this era and timeline as two of the bloodlines are said to be extinct or have not appeared for a long time. Feng Jiu had the bloodline of the fire phoenix, ice phoenix, dark phoenix and the royal phoenix which is claimed to be the purest bloodline of the phoenix clan which is why in order to fully awaken these bloodlines she had to take extreme measures. In order to awaken her dark phoenix bloodline she had to go against her will and force herself on Taiyi and in order to awaken her royal bloodline she had to become an empress which was the reason as to why she agreed to become the queen of the fire realm and to awaken her ice phoenix bloodline she decided to send a part of her spirit to the mortal realm to experience trials in the name of repaying a debt and so far her life had been planned out but the last step requires her to fully integrate with the four bloodlines and to break past her ancestors limitations but for that she needed to fuse the four bloodlines. By fusing with the four bloodlines she will be able to awaken a new phoenix bloodline of her own and since that would take a long time and she might even die she made the decision to slowly fuse the bloodlines together with her empress bloodline as the base for her bloodlines as it was only the royal bloodline that could suppress the other three bloodlines so that the fusion would be successful and she had been successful but to complete her evolution she has to undergo blood baptism and if successful she had to pass through samsara and begin a new so that she can understand her bloodline which was why she could not accompany Taiyi to complete the battle. As she fought, she became stronger until a hundred years ago when her strength suddenly decreased and this led to her enemy taking an advantage successfully landing a hit on her and this was just the beginning. She tried her best to hold on but Taiyi who was in a fight with Elliot and twelve supreme gods noticed the situation and desperately tried to get rid of the others momentarily so that he could aid her and he successfully did so but the supreme gods and Elliot realised it so they did everything to stop him from interfering and that was when Taiyi stopped holding back and used his yin-yang dao but even then he still ended up getting wounded before he successfully escaped to Feng Jiu's side. The other ancestral gods,supreme gods and Elliot also regrouped but they still ended up losing three supreme gods to Taiyi's last desperate attack. After Taiyi grouped up with Feng Jiu, she collapsed on his arms. Taiyi created a spell to protect her as he fought alone but this time it was different. He decided to go all out. He transformed into his dragon form and a long white dragon appeared. Taiyi who was in his dragon form was not willing to go easy on his enemies. With his dragon form he strength was further boosted and his defense rose to a different level. Feng Jiu watched all of this but she did not have the energy to speak so she tried to heal herself while bargaining for more time with her phoenix spirit.' Grant me a hundred more years then I will go with you,please?' Feng Jiu begged but the phoenix spirit was unwilling to listen to her. She tried to recover her qi a day to heal some of her wounds before she once again entered the battlefield. She fought valiantly and with her life on the line. Exchanging injury for injury but she made sure that the wounds she left on her enemy were fatal. With her taking on her phoenix form and Taiyi in his dragon form it became a different story and it was more of a one sided slaughter even though Taiyi was kept in check by Elliot and the supreme gods. Even after all of this, Taiyi's strength soon started to decrease at an alarming rate after which Elliot who was fighting him noticed and took advantage. Taiyi was able to block but another supreme god tried to sneak attack him when he was vulnerable and that was when Feng Jiu interfered and took a spear stab for him. The supreme god drove the spear into Feng Jiu's heart and this was just the final push that she needed as she finally could not find the energy to stand up again. Taiyi saw this and roared angrily as he transformed back to his human form and went after Feng Jiu who was crashing down at an unbelievable velocity. He managed to stopped her from crashing but she was on her last breath.

Back to the present...

Taiyi is still holding Feng Jiu in his arms with his eyes bloodshot. His face was hideous and his killing intent could not be hidden." Husband, I did well,right? I am more beautiful than that sword, right?" Feng Jiu asked.
