Chapter 64: Selling Off Her Daughter

"Got it! I'll make sure it's delivered!"

As Chantelle gave her instructions, Calvin's car pulled up at the entrance.

Thea walked Chantelle to the car and watched as it drove away before heading back inside. 

"Is she gone?"

"Oh, Mr. Wilson! You scared me by sneaking up like that!" Thea clutched her chest, looking both nervous and guilty. Her face turned pale. 

She hadn't expected Daniel to show up. 

More importantly, he already knew Chantelle's true identity.

Chantelle arrived before Thea could question him. Then, to her surprise, Daniel asked her to hide him. 

The whole situation left her confused. 

"You still haven't answered my question. Why do Chantelle and Kate hate each other?" Instead of reacting to her shock, Daniel asked his own question.
