"These people keep in the dark, never to met or seen by the assassins . Only the superiors so know who they are . So if Scarlet was given one of them as a target she would not know that it's one of them " said Alara's mother.

"So if she goes after them , she will be in bigger trouble than before " said Charlotte.

Rae breathed ,he should have watched over her closely.

"I should have told her before she found out like that . If she goes after them then the one who caused it will go unpunished" he muttered.

"Brother I don't care who is responsible what I want is that cooperation to be taken down " said Charlotte.

"It's not as simple as you think Char , they might be bad but they still keep the balance of the underworld in check. If it ain't for them eliminating those who go behind our codes then it would be chaos. And them too are under another bigger company " he explained.

"So if sister in law is to kill any of the top leader she will put herself in the center of all of this . And it won't be easy to get her out " said Charlotte.

A knock came at the door ,"Come in ".

"Boss ,it's been confirmed . The madam has killed four of the top leaders of her organisation " he announced.

Rae gestureed him to leave , silence filled the room.

"I need to stop her " he muttered.

"How ,we don't know where she is right now "said his mother.

"They have been trying to track her , but this time she had been careful not to leave any leads " said his mother.

Rae's phone rang ,it was unknown number .

"I think I messed up " heavy breathing and crying was heard from the other side.

Rae breathed recognising her voice.

"Tell me where you are " he said .

"I can't I don't want you involved anymore " she cried.

"Lara ,please tell me where you are " he pleaded.

"Take care of my family please that all I ask " she asked.

"You know I will even when you don't ask , now tell me where you are " he insisted.

She sniffed.

"You have been so good to me ,but I keep disappointing you . Am sorry " she cried.

Something stabbed his chest while listening to her crying.

"I don't care if you keep doing it , aslong as you stay with me. So please ...please tell me " he gritted his teeth to prevent his tears from falling.

"Rae , please let me go " she muttered.

"No , I won't even if you keep pushing me away I will never let you go . So listen to me you crazy woman , your mine and mine alone . I don't care if the whole world is after you ,I will still choose to stay with you " he declared.

She giggled through her tears and then hang up.

He growled but then a text came in , she had shared her location.

He stormed out without saying anything else.

"Is it okay to let him go alone ?" Alara's mother asked.

His mother snickered.

"His more than enough to take care of it " she assured.

Scarlet heard dozed off and was startled by someone calling her name.

"My love ,am here " he called.

She breathed , it was Rae.

"Am right here " she called.

It was an old warehouse , he rushed over crashing her small body in his arms.

"Am glad your okay " he pulled her closer.

"Your suffocating me " she groaned.

He pulled away ,his hand wiped her face pushing her bangs away from her face.

"You cut your hair " he sniffed.

She giggled , "no, it's not my hair , just a wig "

"Oh...the bangs look good on you " he commented.

She sniffed ,"I thought you wouldn't come ".

"Huh...I would die of worry if I didn't . And I care about you more than anything " he kissed her sweaty forehead.

"I found out who they where after the fourth . I didn't know at first ,I just wanted to get revenge for what they did to me and Sally " she cried.

"I know ,it's not your fault that information mislead you . Sally's death was sad but they had nothing to do with it " he explained.

"Huh, but they head the organisation,isn't all the instructions from them " she blinked.

"No this time , after I investigated I found that Sally was under someone else's instructions. And you do know them" he said.

She gazed up at him her dark eyes tearing up.

"No it can't be ...he would never do that to me or her "she said.

"Am sorry but he did , I confronted him and he didn't deny it " he told her.

Tears fell down her face , "But why ...he knows how important my family is . So why would he try to hurt them " she cried.

"I don't know ,my love . That is a question he needs to answer himself " he held her.

She cried her body shaking in fear and anger.

"Sally was both our friend but he did that to her " she sniffed. "And now I have killed those people without even fully knowing the truth ".

"None of them was innocent , they made you kill alot of innocent people. They deserved it . So dmt blame yourself " he calmed her.

She pushed away from him.

"I need to go and see Adrian ,he will explain to me why he did this " she cried.

"No you can't not in this state " he disagreed.

"But I have to he needs to explain to me ,why ...why all this is happening ". She cried.

He yanked her back to him ,"Alara , look at me " he yelled.

She stopped struggling blankly staring up at him.

"Calm down and listen to me " he said.

She cried , "but Sally died for nothing ,and I almost lost my family ".

"I know my belle , but now let me handle the rest. You need to let me do this for you " he said.

She sniffed falling into his arms.

"My world got messed up since I met you " she cried.

"I know and am sorry. But am going to fix it I promise" he vowed.
