Affection .

Ivana scoffed seeing the surpised look on Alara face.

"You didn't even know it was you " she smirked.

"But ....I can't be his first love .." she uttered.

"Yes you are ...and since that day you have been nothing but a thorn in my life " said Ivana.

"How is that possible...our first meeting was the day I ..." .

"That wasn't the first time you met , you met him twice before that night . You forgot about it but he didn't " said Ivana.

"I can assure you I never .....".

"Don't bother trying to convince me for I was there the first time so I know it was you . I always prayed you would maybe die on one of your missions or he would get tired of it and move on but nothing happened " Ivana sighed.

Alara was more confused now , she had no memory of ever meeting either of them . And that tattoo ....how could it be her.

She was nothing like what he described it to be.

"His been in love with you for so long ,I tried to find out what exactly he saw in you but I never found it. Your nothing close to a perfect woman or partner so how could he be so obsessed with you ?"wondered Ivana.

"Ivana you might be mistaken , but ..."

"Oh shut up and stop being so naive . And if you want to prove it check it " said Ivana.

"Check what ?"

"Check on the tattoo , I was there on the day he got it and right close to it belly your name is tattooed " she said.

Alara blinked , she had never closely examined it .

"I don't care if you are his first love or that he finally got you close to him. But this time am not backing out " she let out .

Alara glanced back at Ivana.

"Ivana , Rae doesnt have the slightest affection towards you , Your a beautiful woman and can get any man to love you "

Ivana stood up .

"Am sorry but I don't want any man but him. His the perfect man for me " she let out.

"You have had years with him and it failed why don't you give up. And right he belongs to me " said Alara.

"No he doesn't ...his only doing this cause of the baby "

Alara got up facing her.

"You said it yourself ,his been in love with me for the longest time, I don't think those feelings while go away now that we are together ".

"I can still win ,I will get him back " assured Ivana.

Alara scoffed.

"Come on Ivana,you know it's impossible. I am his first love he even got a tattoo for it . We are getting married and have a baby on the way . Do you still think you have a chance ?" She asked.

Ivana gulped , Alara could see the tears forming in her eyes .

She gently took her hand holding it in hers.

"I don't want to hurt you or make you my enemy , so please why don't you ...."before she could finish Ivana jerked her off pushing her back with all her strength .

"Shut up ,why don't you just die " she yelled

Alara fell back her legs knocking into the table then down into the couch.

"Alara ...!" they heard Rae's voice call . He had just walked in when he saw Ivana push Alara back .

He rushed to her side ,"are you okay ?"

"Am fine , just lost my balance " she gulped.

"Really ?"his hand rested on her belly.

"Am fine and so is the baby" she gave him a smile.

He breathed and looked back at Ivana who had not moved and inch .

"Leave " he muttered.

Ivana's tears fell ,she glanced back at Alara then walked out of his office.

"Am sorry I left you alone , should have watched over you "he said.

"Come on , she did nothing . And I can protect myself " she said.

"She is crazy and hates you ...I don't trust her being near you " he said.

Alara sighed .

"Your done with your meeting " she changed the subject.

He nodded.

"That's good, let's go get something to eat . Am starving " she let out.

He smiled nodding.

Ivana ran to the washrooms ,crying her eyes out.

The cold looks in his eyes as he glared back at her had terrified her. And it was all because of Alara.

"You will pay for this " she cried pulling out her phone sending a text.

After she washed her face and fixed her makeup ,Ivana left .

"Miss Ivana , the next meeting is starting soon" one of the employee told her.

"Am sorry but am heading out , help me sort that out" she muttered rushing out.

"After all these years I never thought I could see you again " Adrian smirked.

Ivana frowned.

"Let's get to the point ,I don't have time to waste with you ".

"And you think I do ...ever since your never to be boyfriend to my best assassin my job got tougher " he sighed.

Ivana glared back at him.

"What are we going to do ...we need to separate them fast or I will really lose my last chance " she muttered.

Adrian chuckled.

"I told our before this all happened , to find a way to trap him but you failed " he said.

"I didn't fail your ways are very disgusting " she let out.

"Disgusting, if you did as I said then it would be you pregnant with his child instead of my Alara " Adrain let out .

"I just couldn't do it ".

"Well now see what happened. They are together on the verge of getting married and his baby is growing inside of her "

Ivana gulped down the glass of water Infront of her.

"I just hate her so much " she cried out.

"Don't hate her , hate him. That guy is the one who seduced her and got her pregnant . And now has trapped her in his home so he can marry her " Adrian lamented.

"I don't think it's one sided anymore , she might not have had feelings for him before but now she does . She just hasn't realized it " said Ivana.

"That's impossible , Alara would never fall for him ".

"I remember you said she would never expose her self unless it was really important. She brought him lunch today at the company ,they took a walk, hugged each other . I think the whole city saw them " she was yelling now.

"Calm down " Adrain let out.

"I can't ...not now that am really losing him ".

"Alara would never do that , she hated being in crowded places".

"Well she did ".

Adrain sighed , this was becoming even more worse than it was already.
