The moment Aric touched the Second Pillar of Truth, a pulse of energy surged through his body, sinking into his very being. Reality around him trembled as his mind expanded, visions and knowledge pouring into his consciousness at a speed even his Absolute Insight struggled to process.

The luminous obelisk flickered, its crystalline structure shifting between countless forms—past, present, and future, all merging into one incomprehensible truth.
Then, the world around him shattered.
The Veil is Lifted
Aric found himself floating in a space that was neither real nor illusion. Colors bled into one another, forming patterns that defied logic. He stood in a boundless void, surrounded by fragments of history, echoes of battles yet to come, and glimpses of forces beyond mortal understanding.
At the center of it all, a figure waited.
It wasn't a god, nor a mortal. It had no face, no shape, only a shifting silhouette wrapped in countless layers of existence.
"Welcome, Irregular," it spoke, its voice resonating through reality itself.
Aric's eyes narrowed. "Who… or what are you?"
"I am the Sentinel of Truth, the keeper of the Nexus Archive. You stand at the threshold of knowledge meant only for those who defy the will of the Tower."
The Sentinel raised a hand, and visions unfolded around Aric. He saw glimpses of the First Irregulars, the ones who came before him—warriors, tricksters, conquerors, all defying the Tower's system. Some ascended beyond gods, others were erased from existence, their very names removed from history.
But one thing was clear.
The Tower feared them.
Aric's smirk widened. "Looks like I'm in good company."
The Sentinel's form flickered. "Your path has diverged from the Tower's design. The gods and overseers watch you closely. The more you grow, the more they will try to chain you."
Aric crossed his arms. "Let them try."
For the first time, the Sentinel hesitated. "Perhaps you truly are different."
A pulse of power radiated from the Pillar, and new notifications appeared before him.

Kaelith's Warning
Suddenly, reality snapped back.
Aric found himself standing in front of the Pillar once more. The mist of the Veiled Expanse had settled, the oppressive energy gone.
Kaelith was beside him, daggers drawn, her golden eyes sharp. "Aric, what the hell just happened? You touched the Pillar and vanished."
He flexed his fingers, feeling the raw power of his new ability settling in. "Got an upgrade. And a warning."
Kaelith frowned. "Let me guess. We pissed off some higher powers?"
Aric chuckled. "More like I was never supposed to get this far."
Kaelith muttered a curse. "Great. Just what we needed—more divine enemies."
Before they could discuss further, the air cracked with a pulse of foreign energy.
A voice, cold and absolute, filled the space around them.
"The Second Pillar has been claimed. The Irregular cannot be allowed to progress further."
Aric's grin widened. "Finally. I was getting bored."
From the darkness, a new enemy emerged.
