Outside Lucian's room, Pavel let out a long sigh. His face was pale, cold sweat dampening his forehead. "I don't know why, but something feels really different about the Young Master today," he murmured softly. He had intentionally entered Lucian's room thinking his Young Lord was still asleep. Pavel had prepared Lucian's favorite chamomile tea and a plate of his own homemade cookies.
"I thought he would yell at me and throw a pillow at me when he saw my face without a mask." Pavel imagined Lucian would scold him and throw a pillow at him for seeing his face without a mask.
"But his attitude is different today, I even just realized he wasn't wearing a mask earlier," Pavel murmured, his fingers playing with the edge of his robe. His thin smile seemed forced, hiding the worry that was actually gnawing at his heart. "Has the Young Master become confident about his face now?" The question slipped out unconsciously, revealing Pavel's curiosity and concern.
Suddenly, a thunderous voice echoed from inside the room, startling Pavel. "DAMN IT!!!!!" That angry shout, though brief, expressed a very strong emotion, an explosion that contrasted with Lucian's calm demeanor just moments before. Pavel could feel the vibrations in the floor, showing how intense the emotions his young master was experiencing.
After a moment of silence, Pavel gathered the courage to speak, his voice trembling slightly. "Oh, it turns out the young master is still the same as always," he muttered, trying to reassure himself. He opened Lucian's room door and then bowed his head, avoiding eye contact with Lucian, his hands clenched tightly, holding back the urge to rush in and check on his young lord. "Young master, forgive me, I heard the shout, what happened?" His voice sounded very worried, showing his deep loyalty and concern for Lucian.
"Ah?! It's nothing," Lucian said clumsily, immediately realizing the position of Pavel who was still bowing deeply. An awkwardness suddenly enveloped him. He scratched his slightly itchy head. "Why are you like that? Does your waist not hurt? You've been looking down for too long." His voice sounded softer and warmer than usual, revealing Lucian's empathic side hidden behind his often cold and arrogant demeanor. He watched Pavel more closely.
"No, Young Master," Pavel replied, his voice low and a little stammering. He still lowered his head, "It's nothing compared to me loudly looking at your face. I'm used to bowing down before you, and I'll never forget your kindness. My health is not as important as your safety and happiness, Young Master." Pavel added the last sentence with sincerity, showing his unwavering loyalty.
"My face? Am I that ugly?" Lucian asked, his voice sounding a little hesitant and hurt. He was silent for a moment, as if pondering the question. Then, a flash of memory of Lucian Hale in the game came to mind. The memory is so real, as if he really experienced the life of the game character himself. "Oh yes, Lucian in the game is wearing a mask, I just realized that," he muttered, as if to find an explanation for Pavel's attitude.
Lucian glanced at his room, his eyes sweeping every corner of the room, looking for something specific. He looked a little agitated, showing a significant change in attitude. Then, his eyes stopped at a corner of the empty room. He scratched his slightly itchy cheek. "Pavel," he called, his voice sounding a little hesitant. "Is there no mirror here?" The question shows a simple curiosity, but also a little doubt.
"Huh?" Pavel looked surprised, his forehead furrowed. He looked at Lucian with a questioning gaze. "Didn't you tell me to throw away the mirror in your room? You say that you don't want to see your own face." Pavel remembered Lucian's instructions clearly. He was a little confused by Lucian's sudden change in attitude.
"I did that?" Lucian muttered, as if in disbelief. Oh my gosh, how bad was Lucian's face behind the mask to the point that he did that? He thought in his heart, a sense of regret appeared inside him. He sighed for a moment, "Forget it." He said.
"I guess I have to fill my stomach now," he said, as if to distract himself. He stood up and walked towards the door, his steps looking lighter and more optimistic than before. It seemed like he had found a way to overcome his problem.
"Young Master, haven't I already put chamomile tea and some dry bread in your room?" Pavel reminded that his voice sounded soft and attentive.
"Not that, I want to eat something heavy," Lucian said, his voice sounding a bit annoyed. He felt hungry, and the dry bread wasn't enough to satisfy his hunger. He was used to the eating habits of modern people, which were more flexible and not bound by strict rules. "But it's not lunchtime yet, sir," Pavel replied, his voice sounding a bit hesitant.
"Ugh. Here it is, the damn noble schedule. So not suitable for a modern guy like me". Lucian grumbled to himself. He felt constrained by the old-fashioned and unreasonable rules. He walked to the table, grabbed some chamomile tea and a plate of dry bread, then ate it a bit reluctantly. "Oh, this is actually pretty good," he mumbled, trying to enjoy the food. His hunger was somewhat satisfied, but he still wanted to eat something heavier.
He was still watching Pavel, who was still bowing respectfully. "You're still like that, huh?" he said, his voice sounding a bit awkward. "Stand up, haven't you seen my face before?" He tried to be more friendly and relaxed.
"I'm sorry for my rudeness, Young Master," Pavel replied, his voice a bit shaky. He slowly stood up straight, but his body still looked tense. "I won't do it again." He avoided eye contact with Lucian.
Lucian let out a long sigh. "Huh..." He rubbed his face with his palm. "I'm fine with it, so stop looking down when you talk to me." He said while enjoying his tea.
"Are you sure about that, My Lord?" Pavel asked, his voice still a bit uncertain. He looked at Lucian with a gaze full of admiration, but he was still a bit hesitant to fully believe it.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" Lucian shot back, his voice sounding a bit sharp. He furrowed his brow slightly, showing a bit of impatience.
Pavel stood tall, showing his respect to Lucian. He watched Lucian eating with a look of awe. A slight smile appeared on his lips, revealing his hidden admiration. "It's such an honor for me!" he said, his voice trembling a bit. "Your face is so beautiful, but why do you always hide it behind a mask? I've always been curious..." Pavel thought, trying to control his emotions. "Ah, if only I could capture the beauty of your face!" He gazed at Lucian in awe, showing his deep admiration.
"Don't think anything weird," Lucian said, his voice sounding a bit amused. He noticed Pavel's shocked expression. He found Pavel's exaggerated reaction a little funny.
Pavel gasped, his eyes curled in surprise. His face flushed, showing great embarrassment and surprise. "Gekk?!?" Pavel stammered, his voice barely audible. He looked at Lucian with a look of disbelief. "Can you read my mind, sir?!" He asked in a trembling voice, showing his overwhelming surprise. He didn't expect that Lucian could read his mind.
Lucian chuckled softly, covering his mouth with his hand. Even though I was talking because of his annoying face, he thought to himself. He felt a little guilty for having surprised Pavel. Then, the notification board appeared in front of him again.

"What?" Lucian frowned, showing confusion. He stared at the notice board in surprise. "Even though I didn't do anything?!" He wondered, showing his curiosity. He noticed the dry bread he had eaten. "Maybe it's because of eating?" He guessed in a joking tone, showing his sense of humor.
[Because one can also gain experience by eating, what do you not know at all about it? ༼⁰o⁰;༽]
"Is that possible?! And what the hell that annoying emoji is.!!" Lucian's voice was slightly elevated, showing confusion and a hint of annoyance. He frowned, showing disbelief.
[Doesn't this look cool? (^3^♪) ]
Lucian was still staring at the notification board, his eyes wide in disbelief. His eyebrows shot up, as if he couldn't accept the reality he just heard. Pavel, who had been watching Lucian, showed a worried expression. "My Lord??" he asked softly and with concern. He approached Lucian, showing his worry. He didn't understand what was happening, but he wanted to help Lucian.
Lucian took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "Oh, it's fine," he said, his voice sounding calmer. He tried to ignore the message. He still felt confused, but he tried not to show it. He changed the subject. "Oh yeah, what was I usually doing right now?" he asked, trying to shift his focus.
